PenFed has gone up a lot, being the fed rate has gone up a lot. I'm slightly upset with myself for not locking in 1.9% last fall...When 1.9% was way more than I could get at any CU. Edit: Ford honored 1.9%@60mo for me with my November 2021 price lock. That was an easy call.
This is PenFed today:
I'm generally not a fan of leasing, and I was planning to finance my last/current car - I did/do have the cash set aside to buy it, but with low rates, what's the point. Hyundai offered significant incentives to lease vs buy/finance which made it the right call up front, and then with how crazy...
I think the technical answer here is: it depends. For some vehicles it is significant for many it is not. (I'm an old Bimmer guy: The e36, e39, and e46 all received 2nd year motor refreshes which was hugely significant; USDM e36 M3 received some frame strengthening [but not enough, lol])
For...
Depending on your Mazda's value, you might consider buying the vehicle from Mazda Finance or whomever, so you can sell it when the Maverick comes in. That's what I did with my Hyundai Ioniq. If the Maverick came in today, I'd be getting somewhere between $5,341 (Carmax, quoted last Monday) and...
I called two more local Leer dealers.
One said there aren't any toppers available, expect it in July.
The other said we have to order an OEM Leer color - not OEM Ford. He said he probably sells more matte black caps than any other color. The matte black color he orders for customers is a Jeep...
I can't fault you for wanting to protect your bed, but you don't need to. My moms neighbor has a ~2009 Dodge 2500 with linex and he uses it like a truck hauling all sorts of stuff (it's not a status symbol, its a work truck), and the linex looks great. Same with a couple of friends trucks, but...
Yes it's the same top, but the one dealer said they only can order the Snugtop and cost is $3449, while the other said they can order the Leer for about $3,200. I'm guessing they get them prefinished being both said OEM colors only.
I'm going to call Seattle area dealers and see if they have...
I'm going to have to call other Leer dealers out of my area, I think. I called two in Portland, and one could only sell Snugtop (in OEM colors), and the other would do either brand - but only in OEM colors, no matte black.
I'd absolutely love a PHEV AWD Maverick. I wouldn't be interested in just a FWD, which is why I went with an Ecoboost (after 3yrs of driving a pure BEV at that).
It's really a use case thing.
If we use the math from the 2022 Escape PHEV, it's rated at 38mi and 14.4kWh, so it uses around...
Hey y'all, does anyone in PDX, SEA, or Skagit or Whatcom counties happen to have a bed cap? I'd love to see one in person before I place an order for it. I live in PDX, but I'll be up in Skagit roughly June 24th to July 7th, and in Seattle without other plans in the later afternoon of the 25th...
This is why I bought a Maverick! My lab will mostly ride in the cab (esp in the summer), but he gets very muddy, and when he's filthy, he will go in the crate in the bed until he can get home and get a bath.
I'm just putting a single crate in the bed, but it's going to be on an elevated...
