I guess it's all about your preferences, budget, and what you can and can't live without. In my case, since I've finally reached the point in my life where I can get what I want and damn the budget, my Maverick pretty closely reflects my exact preferences. I say "pretty closely" because some...
I had a very good experience at Huntersville Ford. Maybe the best I've ever had for what it's worth. MSRP, and no attempt to throw in any addons. Polite, good communication, and they got my hybrid delivered in seven months. Could've just been lucky I guess....but that's my two cents.
Like Steve...
Hey, who said we were gonna roll the windows down?? 😜
Yeah, I've read articles with similar conclusions. As I recall, they reported a marginal benefit at best at lower speeds...and nothing at all on the highway.
Good question. I was wondering the same thing, as my mileage with continuous a/c use is similar to yours. Now all we need to do is find someone willing to suffer enough to find out....'cause it sure ain't gonna be me! 😉
Agreed. Yes, the old Ridgeline with its weird buttressing behind the cab was exceptionally ugly. So much so that every time I saw one going by, my first thought was "Seriously??...Somebody actually thought this was a good idea??". 😲
But credit where credit is due, they figured it out, and the...
Same for me. In strictly city traffic, I'm currently matching the best mileage I've ever achieved. (44-ish...the readout is usually 1-2 MPG high.) I leave the AC on at 75 at all times. Temps here have maxed out mostly in the 90's for the last couple of months...so I think the big drop is...
I can assure you, my Maverick will still be a very nice truck in 5 years. I've had a LOT of vehicles over the years, and the Maverick doesn't feel cheaply built to me at all. Quite the opposite in fact.
Yep, the timing strongly suggests this is just a compatibility issue with Apple's recent update. My wife's Android phone brings it up just fine, so......there ya go!
I threw my back out a couple of days ago, so I was hoping to avoid crawling under by asking here…but I will do that if push comes to shove. Doesn’t feel like it’s attached to anything back there, but I’m kind of afraid to pull it out any further than you see.
Found this little clip when checking tire pressure this morning. I have no earthly idea what it is. Driver’s side rear wheel well. Can anybody tell me? Sorry if this has already been covered….
Man that was one helluva long wait! It sucks beyond belief that so many early orders like yours are still in limbo after all this time....but I am very happy it finally happened for you. It's a beautiful truck! The Cyber Orange is a fantastic color, and this is just about the best photo I've...
Yep, don't believe the dash MPG. It's clearly a very liberal estimate and almost always 1 or 2 high. However, I'm routinely beating EPA at 43-45 MPG calculated manually. Got 47 once, but that was an outlier and I'm not exactly buying it. City driving of course. Looking forward to finding out for...
I got the pre-collision warning once when approaching a car in a tight turn ahead of me. I guess the angle fooled it. No actual emergency braking....but I feel certain that would have occurred if I had gotten any closer. It was startling, but I feel better knowing it seems to be functional.
I've never heard anything about excessive tire wear on hybrids, and I guess I must have missed the thread here. But as a general rule of thumb, if something is a real issue, a Google search will turn up an enormous cascade of discussions and data, pro and con. And since the search I just...
I've had mine for six months and three thousand miles. I experienced the "clunk" a few times in the early going, but It hasn't happened in a long time now. The transition to friction braking was a little jumpy at first, but it has improved considerably with time, and is barely noticeable...
