  1. So My 22 Maverick Hybrid 12v battery was Replaced. Paperwork shows AGM, battery doesn't.

You can insist they install an actual AGM battery. I know first hand it can be done. I also know first hand it will likely do nothing to fix your ailment. Keep good records and build that paper trail.
  2. Deep Sleep and Battery problems are all yours to deal with, once you reach the 3 year Standard Warranty!

I have responded to these posts regarding the battery saver mode many times. I have been through the whole process on my 24 Lariat including convincing the dealer to install a FoMoCo AGM (BAGM-H4). They also performed the ACC update and did some other reprogramming and brought in Ford service...
  3. Battery replacment with AGM.

All I can say is good luck. But congratulations on convincing them to install an AGM under warranty. It may not be the remedy for the dreaded battery saver mode you are hoping for however. There are some, such as myself that have been dealing with that issue for quite some time. And currently...
  4. 2025 Maverick issue? Help!

Sounds just like a smoke detector low battery indicator. That's probably not helpful.
  5. Impressed with the hybrid Maverick towing!

300 lbs. on the hitch and no detectable squatting. That's promising.
  6. Just Picked Up Our New 2025 Maverick

Man, I wish I could find that color in a 25 and I'm running out of time. Nothing anywhere within 500 miles around here other than ruby red or eruption green. I'm going to be forced to settle on one of them.
  7. Replacing the Hybrid's OEM 12v. Battery

Not as cheap as having the dealer install one under warranty.
  8. 2025 Hybrid - Potential Battery Drain?

Berk, I would highly recommend you consider filing for a buyback under your state's lemon law if you have or will soon meet the required standards. It sounds like you may have to take it in several more times for the same complaint but you're well under a year of ownership so that's good.
  9. Replacing the Hybrid's OEM 12v. Battery

Good for you, you're one of the lucky ones. Early on out of frustration I actually did all of that myself but to no avail. It's been back to the dealer ever since.
  10. 2025 Hybrid - Potential Battery Drain?

There is most definitely more to this than simply poor battery quality. I have been to hell and back (no wait I haven't returned yet) with this issue. My 24 hybrid has spent close to 2 months altogether in service. They finally relented and installed an AGM under warranty hoping to resolve this...
  11. Replacing the Hybrid's OEM 12v. Battery

Nope, they sure have not. And the AGM they finally put in made no difference. I'll be honest in saying this whole problem has been a major PITA. But I refuse to allow it to be my permanent problem. My plan is to get back everything I paid for this vehicle. But that's only possible if you stick...
  12. Replacing the Hybrid's OEM 12v. Battery

That's all good, sounds really good. Two points from my perspective: I don't wait around at the dealer, they always give me a loaner so I'm in, I'm out and I return when they call me, them's the rules. And second, you may have a good warranty on your new battery that YOU paid for but there is no...
  13. More info on 12v battery system on hybrid (2022 model)

Yep, it varies by state or in your case territory, but in Ohio the problem must initially be documented within the first year of ownership. I feel your pain because I am currently awaiting an offer from Ford through mediation on this very issue. I suspect I may be looking at arbitration because...
  14. More info on 12v battery system on hybrid (2022 model)

In some cases (like mine), nothing you do is going to make a difference. You can lock it, charge it, drive the hell out of it, replace the battery every six months, pull fuse 11, light some candles and pray over it and the battery saver mode will still pop up because the battery's SOC doesn't go...
  15. Replacing the Hybrid's OEM 12v. Battery

I have a better solution, make the dealer replace the damn thing with what you need and don't worry about any of that stuff.
  16. Replacing the Hybrid's OEM 12v. Battery

Okay, bad analogy. Let's just forget the whole aging thing. It's quality over quantity anyway. I was in critical care for over 30 years so I know a few things about that. So let's just say my patience has run out and I'm not playing this game anymore. They admit there is a malfunction but a...
  17. Replacing the Hybrid's OEM 12v. Battery

Plenty James, plenty of time. But that new update they are just now thinking about still won't be ready even after you become a nonagenarian.
  18. Replacing the Hybrid's OEM 12v. Battery

I cannot help but to reiterate that the burden of replacing the OEM with an AGM should be on the dealership, meaning Ford. It's so obvious they have an issue with a significant number of the flooded batteries that they admit as much. But it can be much more complicated than that. It's a longggg...
  19. Replacing the Hybrid's OEM 12v. Battery

I'm glad you said "most" and not all because the AGM swap did nothing to solve my issue, so buyer beware. In fact, nobody should be paying for an AGM. If the 12v battery is a suspect regarding your particular problem, then demand the dealer shoulder that burden if you're still under warranty.
  20. Deep sleep mode?

You can try all of those things and more, including the SSM update and replacing the 12v with an AGM. It might fix the battery saver mode symptom, it might not do anything at all. I have been chasing this problem for over a year on my 24 hybrid. A total of about 5 weeks at the dealer and they...
