I think you got bamboozled. It takes almost NO braking effort for pads to polish off any surface rust from rotors, even if the vehicle sits in multiple rain/dry cycles. If the pits were truly deep, it points to an abandoned vehicle (talking months) or defective rotors from Ford. Maybe your...
The American automotive consumer base is filled to the gills with multi-vehicle owners who are in denial about how much they really drive day-to-day. And obviously this is not going to compare with the Lightning on size, or the Cybertruck on price.
Besides the "DIY urban runabout" vibe they...
Can you elaborate on what "no luck" means?
Is it erroring out in the process? Does it get stuck? Does it act like it uploaded but is blank? What are you seeing?
(Don't bother clicking through those - people have been asking since before any trucks were ever delivered, and the consensus seems to have been "get a Lariat.")
1. Something on the powertrain has to fail. That just isn’t that likely with a reputable stage 1 tune.
2. The OEM has to look and be able to determine that the vehicle was tuned.
3. The OEM has to prove that the tune caused the failure.
I’d be curious if/when the display changes for our Canadian neighbors. Is some part of your truck confused and using Celsius?
Have you messed around with Forscan at all?
You didn't use the PAC T-harness or one from Plug-n-Play? Unfortunately if you navigated that mess of wires alone, that is probably where the error started. Sorry but I'm not sure how to clear it, of if it still being there means it's current now.
I think you two have the exact same condition; yours is just white and thus the black clips and other holes stand out. Nothing else goes there AFAIK, that joint is where the pinch welds for lifting are at each end.
If you have the remote turn-on signal, your phantom drain is probably just the usual hybrid issue and not related to the stereo. I am assuming you can easily check and see if that Key is powered up when it's not supposed to be.
AFAIK OP never reported on his resolution - so I don't know if his...
You don't "need" it, but the truck can be started remotely with the Ford app regardless of how it was equipped.
I also like that the app can tell me how much gas I've got left if I'm not in the truck for a few days and don't remember, etc. There are other status items you can see in the app as...

This is what the manual says:
Ford doesn't distinguish between the hybrid and the Ecoboost, but personally I think you are probably fine at elevation in a hybrid since it is not turbocharged. Up to you if you think it is a risk; maybe others at >5,000' will chime in.
The Techron is probably...
I don't see anything about that stuff turning on automatically. 🤷‍♂️
Disclaimer: those snips are from the pre-MY25 manual, but I don't see anything in the later manuals either...
Nothing “alternative” about Top Tier fuels. Use them, and your engine will thank you. To save money, you can get by with 87 octane if you’re just puttering around and not concerned with having max power. No need for additives.
