The hood struts? The hoods are the same between the models, and the person who suggested them has a hybrid. If no one gives you a specific link, search the forum and you will find what hybrid owners have installed.
Yep. An RFID antenna, likely for inventory tracking. Probably would've done no harm unless you just happened to have a toll authority or entry gate using the same frequency.
For anyone who was as confused as I was... I never would've put this together unless I hunted it down.

Thanks. I'm sure you're aware that bass frequencies are non-directional - meaning, the front door speakers can already do the heavy lifting for mid-bass in the backseat, and in the base stereo, they HAVE to. I swapped out all my speakers as well, and was pleasantly surprised that sitting in...
Not sure that is related, since that is a hybrid-specific issue that is limited to that one connector.
Ecoboosts aren't wired that way and don't have a 12V+ jump point.
Watched the whole video and still have no idea what "BJB" is supposed to be. š¤·āāļø
Edit: googled it. Okay. Thread titles are a great place to spell things out the first time for anyone browsing and trying to decide if they care to keep reading. :D

I've heard good things about CTEK, but Noco is a great, reputable company. Nothing to do with Walmart, specifically.
I like what you've done, but was there a reason you didn't ditch the B&O subwoofer completely and put in a Hideaway HS10? It'd be half the wattage (not that you need 400W for your speaker), but with much lower frequency response.
Will the OEM cable under the hood not reach back to the front fender where the plastic "XL/XLT/LARIAT" badge is? Several folks put plug connectors there on their hybrids for battery chargers. If that would be an option, I like it better since that black fender badge pops out and is replaceable...
In almost two years I haven't ever remote-started my truck to get it warmed up, because the heated seats/steering wheel are so quick - so I am speaking from experience. And I generally leave the AUTO fan speed on its highest setting, and it doesn't actually blow at that setting until there is...
If youāre in AUTO mode on the HVAC, and the temp setting requires heating, the fan isnāt going to blow full speed until there is heat to blow. There isnāt any impact to how long the engine takes to warm up.
The system sends air to the floor and/or dash-top defrost vents when it decides...
I would recommend running the remote signal from a fuse tap instead. These trucks will make enough beeps and bloops and static pops randomly, even when not running, that auto detect will fire up that amp.
Post 4, technically.
Part of the āfunā of this forum is that it seems everybody is compelled to get their answer/opinion in, even if it is several posts or even years later. š
I have a Key 200.4 behind the glovebox and probably used the same point you are referring to. Zero issues here.
Did you run a 12VDC+ remote turn-on, or rely on the Kickerās āauto-detect?ā
Is the harness the PAC one, or something else?
I know it's a hard sell given the way the Maverick owner group tilts, but if you use the "AUTO" setting, the fan doesn't ramp up during heating until there is warmth in the system. I've had other vehicle brands that did this better, but even my MY23 does a decent job of not blowing snow at my feet.
The Nocos desulfate automatically when they detect the battery needs it. If youāre charging regularly, youāre likely covered.
That said, no one here has gotten six years out of a battery in a Maverick hybrid yet, and that model seems to often have its own set of battery issues that have nothing...
