Update: Appt was pushed up to today because of short staffing. I've had 23 deep sleep notifications in total. Auto Stop/Start has not worked even once since early December. I also got the gas tank recall later last night. It could be a while until I get it back but they did give me a loaner.
What gateway are you saying doesn't work? It should work with any MyQ device as long as you have the built-in Home Bridge or the external myQ® Home Bridge.
If you have an AppleTV or HomePod set as a home hub you don't have to do any setup/shortcut. The garage door status shows up automatically a few blocks from your house if you use the MyQ system.
I ordered the 16th at 2:42 PM. Emailed them to get a status and I just a response that it was canceled. I got the same message as @Chicago Mike before my cancellation.
NIce!
Personally, I think I'll tap into the overhead lights. The risk of cutting a wire to the camera isn't worth it.
While we all wait...is that black dome sensor part of the inactive "perimeter plus" system?
I decided to wait and see if I got the FordPass app low-charge notifications. Those started on the 7th. I have an appt on Friday. I'll update when I find out more.
What was the cause? My 2019 Outback had 2 replaced. Dealer had it for over a month and never found the source. I'm having similar issues with my Maverick. I'm hoping it's not as big of an issue. 🤞
All Noco Genius chargers desulfate.
I only see the boosters on there now but that is the brand.
Noco Genius also works with a wider variety of batteries (FLA, AGM, and lithium), 12v and 6v, has ring clips built-in, force mode for dead batteries, the quick connect is much more robust and you get a lot more information on the state of the battery. I've never used a Battery Tender brand but...
It does in a way. The clock is set by GPS and you can find the truck on the app. This is one of those cases where they chose to not offer a no or near-zero cost option. I don't care about the actual navigation I just wish we could see the speed limit in the center gauge like is offered on the...
Serious question. What is it that bothers you so much about it? You're not moving anyway and it is quick to start back up. I guess I'm just not seeing the negative.
Update: Took a 4-hour road trip a few days ago. Never turned off once. When I got up the next morning it turned off at the first stoplight at 0°. Perplexed at this point but I'm just going to wait and see.
For those who were thinking the outside air temp was to blame, I saw a new message today...
Best mileage I have seen was 37mpg running non-ethanol 91 octane summer gas on two lane highway trip for about 150 miles. On winter gas 10% ethanol 87 octane I’m seeing about 32 under the same conditions. This is all in eco-mode with a verrry light foot on the pedal.
Left the in-laws at 6 am this morning. It was 5 degrees with overnight snow. I remote started and discovered the front camera has its own heating element! This is not something I've seen before and after doing some searching I don't think it's common. Tesla has it but I haven't seen many more...
Update: Called the dealer. They said those numbers were "normal"...🤔 But I could bring it in to have them look at the Auto Stop/Start. I decided instead to throw a NOCO 10 charger on for 90 minutes to see if it made a difference. Went for a 30-minute drive and start/stop worked immediately. It's...
I'm sure some will think of this as a feature but my auto stop/start hasn't worked in about 3 weeks. I'm in Minnesota so temps have been between 60 and 0 degrees lately. I have driven up to an hour and at every stop the symbol x-ing out the auto-stop appears. At first, the dash status would...
