I have had a couple of cars with CC do that to me, and I agree, it is kind of unnerving. The Maverick is my GF's and she rarely uses CC, so im not sure if that will ever affect her... But hmmm. Not sure why this happens ?

Ya' know, I put a leather steering wheel wrap in my F150, and I absolutely love it... My old steering wheel was starting to degrade, so I had to do something, but geez ! What an absolute PITA to sew on ! Came out flawless, but I'd pay someone $100 to put that $20 wrap on the next time !

I use CC constantly. Honestly, I strongly prefer adaptive CC.... Which not even the XLT has ☹️ But at the very least, all my vehicles need CC. I had a car a few years back that did not even have CC as an option. Thought maybe I could add it aftermarket. My mechanic gave me about a half dozen...
