Everything I've seen on this topic has said the answer is no. Looks like a lot of research has been put into this topic as it's become a bit of a Holy Grail of FORScan settings, so I think it's safe to say that the second someone figures this out, everyone is going to know about it.
From what I can tell, it's broken down like this:
Initial - system default value
Personal 1-4 - I'm assuming these are for individual MyKey settings
Vehicle - this is the current option as set through vehicle menus
For me with just admin keys, vehicle appeared to be the only setting that was...
So I have my 23 Hybrid XLT Lux, and decided to work on getting a few of the mods working on it while I'm here in the UK. Made some changes, and I've got the following mods up and running now:
Eco Coach
Speed Sign Recognition
Silent Mode
Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
Lane Keep Assist (LKA)...
Just did this mod on my 23 Hybrid XLT Lux, and was able to get it up and running without needing to swap out the left control stalk (full LDW + LKA) and without needing to make AS BUILT changes. I'll probably swap the stalk out later. The detection and correction is working flawlessly, and it...
Well, went and pulled the AS BUILT backups, no issues. Played around with some settings, managed to get the Speed Sign Recognition up and running (and it worked with the UK signs, including the NSL sign), but now FORScan is saying it can't read the DTC for the RCM, and any attempt to get back...
I'm going to be interested to try out the TSR mod, but getting it set for the UK might be tricky. I need the European signs, but the speeds are in MPH. Otherwise going to get real funky when I hit that village 30mph sign and the truck is thinking it's supposed to be 30kmh.
I just got Forscan today and am ready to start poking around at the settings in my Hybrid Maverick (especially the traffic sign settings, it'd be nice to get that configured for the UK). Is there a master list that provides some context to what each of the settings in the modules are?
Just shy of 13K miles, had the MIL pop on. Fired up my BT reader and FORScan, got the following codes:
OBDII - Code: P237D - Exhaust Heat Exchanger Exhaust Bypass Valve 'A' Control Circuit Low
PCM - Code: P237D - Exhaust Heat Exchanger Exhaust Bypass Valve 'A' Control Circuit Low
PCM - Code...
I don't mind the offset, and at least they have nice little bump outs for exactly where to mount the plate. Not that that little detail stopped the geniuses who took care of my UK light conversion from mounting it on the left side where there is no light.
I can usually get up to about 45-50 mph in just electric mode during my 17 mile commute to and from work, and overall anywhere from 41-51 mpg for the trip depending on how much farm traffic I hit. And that's with AC on. I wish the EV coach display was a bit more informative with power and...
Wife is driving. My phone (Galaxy S20) is sitting in the cubby, kind of sticking halfway out, but staying put. Going into a large roundabout at a decent speed, phone falls out of the cubby and knocks the dial into Neutral right as my wife is needing to accelerate through the turn and steps on...
Ok one last thing to add to the list, now that I've got a few more miles on it.
The cruise control behavior is annoying. Yes it's great that you can SET+ and SET-, but it's always setting whatever the current speed. If you're rapidly clicking one direction and then need to maybe knock it back...
I'm really surprised to see how much the Maverick has exploded in popularity, when just a decade ago Ford had the Explorer Sport Trac pickups which have some strong similarities to the Mavericks. We have 2 of the Explorer pickups at work and when you put a Maverick next to them you can see some...
Just did a 1228.8 mile road trip around Scotland, my Maverick Hybrid did that on a tank and a half of gas and averaged 40.2 MPG for the whole trip (the 70 MPH motorway legs wrecked the average, while the smaller legs in Scotland were regularly tapping 50+ MPG).
I'm running a Garmin Dashcam 47 off a USB adapter in my 12v outlet, haven't had any issues with the battery yet. The power draw on the dash cam is so low that I really don't think it will matter that much.
I wish, scenery out that way is much better than up around Cambridge.
Yep they still do that. I get 1 vehicle to ship along with my household goods, so my Maverick is heading back to the States with me (my motorcycle will just count towards my overall HHG weight).
Back to the thread topic...
Thanks for the welcome! Funny thing though, I'm not a Brit lol. Military stationed in the UK, got my Maverick off Military Auto Source with a bit of luck and the right timing. Couple other Mavericks floating around, I think I have the only 2023 over here currently. Lot of fun driving a US...
Got a few for this list:
Seat belt indication display should have some kind of time delay vanish.
I agree with OP on the drive mode selection.
The Copilot 360 package should be a standard feature. That's the one upgrade I wish that my XLT had.
