Thanks for posting this! Found a couple of other tweaks in the IPC now thanks to you compiling everything that I'm going to have to go in and make now lol.
Where I live is basically Little America, so not too many head turns other than "it's a hybrid?" I'm also out in farm country so there are Rangers and Navaras all over the place and the Maverick just blends right in. I will say that where the Maverick really shines is driving around the...
If 2 door to 4 door changed anything, I haven't noticed. Was set to 2 door from the factory. I haven't installed anything to enable LKA, that was 100% just a FORScan mod to get it running. I want to get the switch with the button for it, just don't have the time to put towards it right now.
Gotta say, I'm not a fan of the touchscreen HVAC controls. The space below the display seems to provide better utilization though. I'd probably get used to it after a while, but it wouldn't be my first choice.
Sure feel free to include it. I do not have Copilot 360. That's the one package I would have wanted to add on if I had the opportunity, but my truck was already on the lot when I got it.
Here's my Maverick at the center of Scotland during a road trip last year. That was a good way to break in the truck - 1228.8 miles total, averaged 40.2 mpg for the trip. The motorway stretches tanked the gas mileage, but ended up getting mid 50s on the curvy roads around the lochs.
Made some updates to the list - changing the Country Code in the IPC module updated the TSR display to use the round UK/EU style speed limit signs (before it would read the signs no problem, but the display would show a US style sign), and went into the AS BUILT to do the seat belt display...
If you're seeing the round signs, check the country code setting in IPC. It should be "US". I have TSR active in the UK and was getting US style signs on my display until I switched the country code from US to UK.
I have to ask, do you get audible notifications of overspeed? All mine does is...
And once again, let the vehicle sit for a few hours, DTCs still present but whatever is actually causing the fault and limp mode to kick on isn't occurring. Reset the codes, no faults pop back up, truck is back to normal (when it first happened any attempt to reset the codes would fail and it...
Just had it happen again. Had the truck running for about 10 minutes prior to driving, pulled out of the driveway and didn't even get up to 20 before truck put itself into limp mode. The most jarring part is the automatic parking brake application once you start slowing down. Hoping that...
When it popped on me I was probably doing about 20-25 accelerating to 30.
As for the fault itself, reading the codes it seems like the ECU/PCM had some kind of hiccup and either didn't output a signal or created a corrupted output and put itself into limp mode. In any case, it was enough that...
Ok well, here's an update for mine. As the faults popped right when I was leaving work, I limped it back into the parking lot and tossed my phone's Bluetooth code reader on it. SOBDMC had two faults on it that stood out, here's the log from that:
===SOBDMC DTC U1011:86-ED===
Code: U1011 -...
Just had this exact thing happen on my 23 Hybrid XLT today. 15152 miles, had recalls 23E07, 23E09, and 23C41 completed on 9 Feb. The limp mode thing that it's doing now, combined with no response to throttle input (just accelerates when put into drive) is INSANELY dangerous. I had no idea...
The physical button on the stalk should change that value as you turn the system on/off. Turn it on, then see if hitting the button toggles the system on/off? If it's all set up correctly then you should see the LKS icon appear on the display showing that the system is on and ready. That icon...
That was something I was going to dive into this weekend once I can get my wife to give me a hand with it since I don't have a mirror or anything to verify what is kicking on and when. Should have a better idea of whether it's actually working and/or what changes I need to make here in a couple...
