Sounds like Ford with their issues with the Focus, Fiesta PowerShift Transmissions blowing up. Hybrid sounds ideal in warm climates but who knows without a re-designed replacement part if issues will come up down the line.

It does that to cycle the battery and keep its health. The Prius is the same way where it’ll never allow the battery to fully discharge or charge but keep it within a 50 - 75 % Range. Sometimes it’ll do a full discharge and charge to cycle the battery to prolong its life

plugnplay harness doesn't need speaker wires. Besides if you tap into the back speakers like most people are doing the back speakers are crossed over for high frequencies from the head unit

There's a TSB to fix the flashing check engine light and misfiring / rattling in some cases, but it looks like Ford needs to do a redesign of the transmission plate or clutch as it's also an issue for the Escape Hybrid. Looks to be only isolated in colder climates.
