Looks good, do the tweeters you’ll thank me later.
It added highs that was previously muddy with the stock tweeter. I made a post previously about that kit. I’d say it’s a 2/5 difficulty. It’s worth it though.
Sounds like it changes the timing in drive while the engine is on versus in park idling.
im not an engineer but maybe the techs from Ford can fill you in.
Then it’s considered to be normal, because of the Atkinson Cycle Engine, Tacomas have similar symptoms referred as the “Taco Tick”.
If you saw a Check engine light before and not now, then the update is applied.
take a look here,
once engine gets to temp it should quiet down.
with that said...
There’s a TSB on that, they’re supposed to preform a software update to the PCM.
it’s only affected by cold weather the ICE misfires (can cause check engine light) and runs rough.
Does the OEM Mud Flaps have a rubber gasket to seal to the body of the truck?
I have bushwacker fender flares and it has a rubber gasket but not sure if it’s wearing into my paint

The Maverick is a daily driver for me and I commute at least 9.6 miles daily that is a combined journey of getting there and back.
I’ve never had any issues with the deep sleep although I noticed when I had all the interior lights on while the truck was off and my dash cam was running on...
Bad software programming. A case I’ve noticed is that if I enter the truck quickly after unlock the radio head unit will not boot fully and play the old ford chime.
I know this isn’t a Maverick in the video but it’s basically the same symptom
heck this guy on this Maverick got a depress...
Clickling noises on the hybrid is normal; is it consistent or intermittent? if intermittent its normal.
Actually, it makes clicking noises while the truck is off too, if you sit in it long enough while its off you'll hear it in the cabin and even outside
I experienced another shudder today. @ 13K Miles on the clock and Guys I’m looking into it deeper and I think it’s a normal operation for it to shudder every now and then.
apparently the ford focus/fusions and C-Max having the same issues
I’m gonna sit and wait. Im not trying to be a victim of a beta test. I’m gonna let my local ford dealer figure out the kinks and I’ll bring it in next year.
Must have been built on a Friday afternoon..
hopefully all works out, I’m really curious to what failed in the transmission. Maybe the clutch? Like that one other member.
