I used Soundskinz on mine at the recommendation of one of the MotorTrend journos. I bought from Amazon. I think I bought the smaller of the two rolls you can get. That was just enough for all 4 doors and just a little left over.

This obviously looks better, and at least you were aware of not going crazy with coating it. But, if this ends up failing for any reason the dealer is going to have to deny a warranty claim. If they turn in a clearly painted part they would be back debited for that warranty repair.
