I've seen this problem a lot with Ford and a little with other brands too. It is most likely a failure in the DSP module (amp) I would try to catch this on your cell phone and get it to the local dealer
I don't hear turbo whistle in this video at all. I think that is just their exhaust note. I love Magnaflow product. I've used it on several trucks and also my Z06 Corvette. But for sure some applications there stuff does not sound great, or even good at WOT. I have seen that complaint...
I honestly don't know why more drivers don't use cruise as much as possible. On top of a fuel mileage benefit it helps traffic. The number of times I am driving somewhere and have the same donkey(s) pass me only to slow down and be repassed and then speed up and pass me again is maddening to the...
This! I have never seen one used for any real length of time that did not damage the paint. If it was a perfect weather environment, maybe. But the heat, moisture and dirt that gets behind them ends up being far worse than the few rock chips one might get.
It is not remotely the same thing, and you thinking so shows ignorance on the subject. Certified by who? Not Ford. Ford paying for the repair under a recall means FORD is liable. And they are not going to be anxious to hang that responsibility on Joes Garage and fishing tackle in West Jesus...
First, you are 100% wrong about the laws. I could be wrong, but to my knowledge ZERO states have laws that allow warranty work to be done outside of the dealer network. I understand how you feel, and as noted I hope Ford can make an exception. But this is more complicated than you are making it...
Posts like this are always comical to me. I do hope the OP can get Ford to make an exception. But for any other issues that come up, what then? Ford built a product and they have a vast dealer network. It is not today, and never will be Ford's problem that the OP is an a shit to access...
Yeah this is the only part that is questionable to me. This is just a bullshit used car guy type tactic. They absolutely can hold it. They are just trying to strong arm the sale. $3500 extra really isn't that much. If it were me I would be inclined to take the truck that is available now.
Owning both a Maverick and Bronco Sport Badlands I can tell you that in my opinion I think the Maverick drives better. The Badlands is shorter than the Mav and it really changes the drive characteristics. The Maverick drives like a longer car and to me that makes for a much more pleasant driving...
For the handgun there are a few companies that make a very minimal mount that you can attach to a lower dash panel. They are magnetic and work amazing. I have not fit one in my Maverick yet, so I am unsure of space available as you would want it on your draw hand. I have also in other trucks...
