Generally speaking when we see CarPlay issues it is within CarPlay. Your car is really just a mirror. Always check for new software first, then do a restart on your phone. And, if using a cord always be sure to use an actual Apple cord. CarPlay moves a lot of data and it does not like many...
I would never do that, I am not remotely celebrity obsessed. But, since you used his name specifically a cool story I have is that my ex boss bought a Pitts acrobatic plane from Tom Cruise. He didn't actually know it was from Tom, because he has someone that handles his hanger and aircraft. But...
Have you tried the owners manual or Google? And again, it is beyond simple for the horn not to beep. Mine never beeps, never. And I have not changed a thing.
Again with such weird questions. I don't mean to pick on you, but why is this even a question? A double tap of the fob creates a horn tone and one does not. Solution is to just push it once, or use either interior or exterior lock pads when exiting the truck and no horn tone.
What in the heck are you even asking, and where the eff did you read that? Some of the questions on here boggle my mind. There is some stuff that passes the rings. This happens on literally every combustion engine ever made. It is not inherently a problem. There can be failures like an injector...
I have not personally had any issues. But one thing to note with modern cars is that the transmission is adaptive. Over the course of the first bit of driving the transmission mapping will adapt according to how you drive. During that time it may have a hiccup or two and that can be normal.
The hood barely even registers when I am driving and I am only 5'8. I can't imagine seeing this small of a vehicle and thinking the hood is any kind of an obstruction. But, in fairness I've mostly owned full size trucks and have a lot of experience in class A and B sized trucks.
How cheap does one have to be to turn off a safety feature over fear that they have to replace a BULB after 10 years. And as long as you feel they aren't needed, that is all that matters really. Myself I never let facts get in the way of how I feel and construct arguments ;)
So, forgive me. If you have a service place you trust, why are you going to oil change places? Is this back to a cost thing? I get clients like this regularly. Their "mechanic" usually takes care of most things, but can't do certain diagnostics or whatever. This again goes back to my argument...
Even if different sizes? You cannot rotate staggered fitment tires. You can move them left to right, and on sports cars that will help even out inside wear. But that is still not as effective as cars that can be rotated front to rear.
This car is out of warranty, so it is a mute point. But, had it been in warranty it would have been denied anyway due to her not having service records. This is on a European car.
This mindset is so foreign to me. There are absolutely garbage shops out there. But there is a number of online tools available to look at shops reputations. I have a very hard time believing you can't trust a shop to do an oil change. Do you trust your chef at a restaurant dinner not to spit in...
I don't care what his podcast says. If you don't rotate tires you WILL have uneven wear. That isn't even debatable. On some cars you will end up replacing a pair significantly sooner without rotation. Many newer cars, especially in the luxury market use a fairly soft tire. Rotation is a cheap...
