just use same year or newer apim and youll be good. we ran into issues with the escape 13.2 screen because the programing wasnt in a 22 apim and the screen is 23

Yea it works pretty good too. Surprisingly quick to boot and connect.

Did you get the six pin plug for the screen and the power plug. The new screen needs two connections

****Update**** if you are using the 13.2 in escape screen make sure you get a apim from the same model year 23 or newer. We have found that the older ones don't have the firmware for the screen installed because the screen wasn't introduced till 23. So for a example a 21 f150 apim will not...

It's smaller too. Mines 13.2 inches not 12. That ones also going to need some very custom mounting

No cutting just heat to massage the plastic around the bold used to mount the screen. Picks are on the first page

No no didn't need to modify anything else but the apim programing. There's a few dtcs stored. But nothing that trips a light . I can share it but it's specific to my truck. Like I said originally every truck is different

Got my 23 escape cluster installed and working today. Pretty much the same as the others. Drive modes work but look different when changing like I can't get animations to show up or something. Maybe someone in here has some insight

Update for everyone. Finalized programming today and I believe everything works. Ford pass still remote stars locks and unlocks. Xm works. Wireless android auto works. Backup camera works, Ford nav works ish (will show location on the map but a subscription is required for nav not worried about...
