  1. Who still has their Maverick purchased new?

Surpassed four years, nearing 40,000 miles and still on the original tires. Have considered getting a newer model, or a Mach-e or Escape PHEV a few times, but never pulled the trigger.
  2. What would you do? Upgrade to a CPO or not?

Absolutely! It is the original color I would accept on another one.
  3. What would you do? Upgrade to a CPO or not?

Well the one I have is an early ‘22 which means it has had a ton of recalls, plus several CSPs still active on it. And the CARFAX does show the other vehicle’s service history.
  4. What would you do? Upgrade to a CPO or not?

I have a '22 Cyber Orange Hybrid XLT that Carvana is presently offering to buy for $22,200. I found a Ford Gold Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) '23 Maverick Hybrid in Cyber Orange Hybrid XLT at an out-of-state dealer for $22,500. After fees, registration and transportation, the all-in price would be...
  5. 🎄 Christmas Giveaway: What's Your Beloved Truck's Name? 🎁

Woodstock. The color besides being very much school bus yellow or highway divider paint color, also resembles the birds in the Peanuts comics. As an avid rocket hobo who has attended numerous launches at Kennedy Space Center, going with a Peanuts theme for all my cars and devices was a natural...
  6. Orange Fury Metallic now arriving at dealers (first photos)

I love the Cyber Orange color, and admittedly this doesn't look all that different in the photos I've seen, but if it is the same Orange Fury that was on the Mustang, then YES, it is very orange in person.
  7. Used Maverick Values vs Other Fords

Could've got the 0% financing, but settled for 0.9% over three years.
  8. Used Maverick Values vs Other Fords

I have been super impressed with the way the Maverick has held its value on the used car market. My Maverick that I took delivery of in February 2022 has 36000 miles and the original tires still, yet Carvana is offering $22,600 for it. Outstanding for a vehicle that only cost $25,007 when new...
  9. Hybrid Fuel Savings vs Battery Replacement Cost (With Inflation Adjustment)

I have issues with two starting numbers. 1) The hybrid battery may easily surpass 10 years without needing replacement. 2) $5000 replacement costs for a 1.1 megawatt battery seems overly high. My reasoning for both is that in my former Prius the hybrid battery was 15+ years old and working...
  10. Is Maverick 200k miles reliable?

Not likely to be true. The HEV battery in the 2006 Prius I owned was 15 years old and still functioning when I sold it with the arrival of my Maverick. The Maverick definitely has a newer style HEV battery and should be quite dependable over the long haul. Having owned a '22 Hybrid Maverick for...
  11. CYBER ORANGE Maverick Photos Thread

The photo I always wanted captured in passing.
  12. If you could go back to 2022 original Maverick pricing, what would you do?

Would have ordered as many as the dealer would allow in variety of trims, colors and options. Then sold all but my existing one. Actually, I did end up ordering another in 2023 and sold it for a hefty profit.
  13. Post your Maverick next to ridiculously large trucks - photos thread

Behind a Super Duty in the dealer’s service bay exit after getting a plethora of recalls performed.
  14. How to use the AT&T Hotspot in a ‘22 Maverick?

Looks like this thread has gone off on multiple targets. 😜 I (the post author) have the ‘22 XLT with the AT&T hotspot modem. Have not been able to connect yet, but I have some ideas will try later when have a chance. Yes, the hotspot modem feature was deleted from later ’22 models, as well as...
  15. How to use the AT&T Hotspot in a ‘22 Maverick?

Mine is an early ’22 so it has all the doodads that were deleted from later 22s.
  16. How to use the AT&T Hotspot in a ‘22 Maverick?

The sliders there are blue (active), but provide no other useful information.
  17. How to use the AT&T Hotspot in a ‘22 Maverick?

After nearly three years of ownership, I decided to activate the free 3-month AT&T in-car hotspot modem for use during along road trip. Got it started at AT&T, but can’t figure out how to access it, nor see the network name and password. Web search stated it is handled via the FordPass app, but...
  18. Requesting opinions on what I should do.

I don't know your specifics, but those insurance rates seem high. I have full coverage in Florida with $250/$500 deductibles on my '22 XLT Hybrid and my insurance payment is less than $90 per month.
  19. Might be time to sell.

Kinda crazy people are still offering high prices as dealers now seem to have stock of both the EcoBoost and the hybrid models on lots.
