Seriously...still no update on the resolution to this recall?

I’ve purchased a ‘22 and a ‘23 Maverick and never received any surveys from Ford.

The bubble is not over yet, especially for the Hybrids. Sold an XL Hybrid to Carvana for $3.5k over MSRP three weeks ago, while a friend just sold an XLT hybrid to Carvana this week for $5.6k over MSRP.

2022 XLT Hybrid: $26,007 sale price, put $6k down, financed 3 years at 0.9% interest through Ford Credit. Payment is $563.49 per month.

13.4 mpg average?

Hybrids are at least 20-year-old tech. Every new car is filled with a host of other tech that is much newer.

If you are only driving less than 100 miles per month, owning any car is counterproductive from an economic standpoint. Between taxes, insurance, depreciation etc., for that many miles, renting a car when needed or using taxis, ridesharing apps would likely be cheaper.

I would also recommend plugging into the USB-C port instead of the USB-B port.

I've found the XLT seats to be very comfortable, even on long drives. During the short time I drove a new XL, I was not nearly as happy with the seat - no lumbar and the foam felt stiffer.

Yes, the Maverick does have a mileage as well as time countdown for oil life. Mine started telling me to change the oil after only 6500 miles of local driving. Thought it was weird until I realized the prior oil change was 12 months ago.

16,000 miles and climbing … loved it every day since Feb. 2022 when it first arrived at the dealer.

Very cool modification. May have to do something similar down the road.

Adding CoPilot 360 after the fact, is technically possible, but not easy, not installable by dealer, and quite pricey.

The answer IS that the Mavericks were switched from United to another carrier. All four, including mine, arrived out of the blue at the dealer late yesterday afternoon.

DeLoreans were better built cars than they got credit for, but I don't recall ever doing any towing in mine.

Thanks but no worries. It, and the other three Mavericks, will show up at the dealer eventually. All made it to New Orleans and from there they go via semi on I-10 East.

I like my '22 Maverick Hybrid and am aware that only a very small number of the vehicles produced will ever experience a failure and fire due to it. I'll look more closely into the class action lawsuit, but I am inclined not to join the lawsuit at this time. That may change in time depending on...
