The "$20,000" Maverick was always underpriced for what it was. A capable hybrid truck that gets 40MPG, so it's no surprise that Ford raised the price on that particular trim significantly to match market rates. It is what it is.

Their initial markups must be ridiculous to keep Mavericks in stock like that, especially in California where they're even in higher demand due to the ridiculous gas prices over here.
