They have them in stock now and are currently being shipped. They have actual pictures up on the listing. It's a slightly different design than they originally had posted. Only a matter of time before the stock gets moved to the US and you can get your regular 1-2 day Prime shipping.
Using this picture from google with a 4x8 sheet I'm guessing you're talking about the clearance between the tail lights at the end of the bed and not the wheel wells, correct? I could see that being much closer to 49" than the 53.3" given as the spec inside of the bed.
Not a fan of this at all especially with ordering the duel zone temp control. Hopefully my build on 5/27 missed this and if not I'll be asking my dealer if they can get parts to swap it out.
@fordvideoguy do you have a contact you could ask about this change?
My plan is to do a diy ceramic coating when the truck comes for less than $100. If done correctly it should offer protection for 5 years minimum, hopefully preventing possible rock chips from the added hard layer on top of the paint. I’ll use the spray stuff after washes too but that doesn’t...
Care to share some more pictures and share how you “manipulated” it? I’ve thought it might work flipped upside down but don’t have my truck yet to test it
That's the same listing linked above, they just updated it a little bit. I've placed my order for that one as well and hopefully I'll have my truck soon enough to test it out.
They updated the image and description today (along with a $1 price increase) and it looks like its a 2 in 1 tray with an upper and lower organizing section. For $20 I'm taking a risk and ordering one.
If you search that company on Amazon it seems they've had successful trays for other vehicles in their past. It seems this is the first aftermarket tray available and I'm sure they will update their pictures and seem much more legitimate in the near future. If I had my truck I'd be buying one...
That's fine, just not my personal preferred option. Just sharing what I found as I've seen those V-rings all over the place but nobody has talked about this option
These are my backup plan. As I mentioned, I just prefer a fixed mount if I can make it work. With less moving parts there are less possible failure points.
There was a thread out there of a member that did an awesome job of fabricating a custom tie down that works with the tailgate assist strut. I tried to add this post to that thread, but it has been closed for new replies. I'll link it HERE if you haven't seen it already. Well I was searching...
