    I understand that road miles are much easier on an engine than city miles, so you should be good. Personally, I would change the oil now and at 3k miles, change again. Reason, turbos need lubrication and oil is inexpensive in comparison. Safe travels.

    Did Ford fix the design flaw or only admitting to the years? Really matters to me, I have a 2016 Escape Tit max loaded w/ engine from Germany…great road car…..have been tortured debating trading for a Maverick (CG 2.0/Awd, Lux, 360, tow w/ alloy wheels). One car family. Thanks!

    There is a lot of good info re this post., I change oil every 3k, use 91 octane and try to keep the revs up. So far, at 50k, the engine runs great.

    Cool…I have read heat is an issue with the Ecoboost, which is why I have gone with the 2.0 XLT tow package. Look forward to your updates and thankful your doing them. Off the subject, but what are your thoughts on the front bumper?
