  1. What did YOU cross shop with the Maverick?

Before the Maverick was announced, I had looked at used mid sized trucks and SUVs no older than five years and everything I looked at are higher mileage and not much more than new. I’ve also driven the competition, including Santa Cruz, Ridgeline, Ranger, and most recently the Frontier which is...

  5. Waiting on Maverick to Move from Chicago Shipping Yard

Where is your dealer located? Mine is about to ship from the factory soon and likely be dropped-off in Portland before going on the truck to Seattle. And, according to chatter on the West Coast sub forum, months ago thieves broke into the Portland rail yard and have been cutting-off the...

Been checking the tracker almost daily. I already had three updates to the scheduled build week: 5/22, 5/25, and as of this post, 5/26. But what matters is my truck is about a week away from production.
  10. Best Ford dealer north of seattle

Every single dealer will have a markup. Best bet is to wait for the MY24 order bank to open in July.
  11. Would anyone be interested in a Lincoln version of the Maverick?

They did it twice and both failed - Blackwood, then the Mark LT. Buyers would just opt for the King Ranch or Platinum trim F-150 instead. I think they should bring back the Eddie Bauer trim, two-tone paint and all.

  16. Bob's Maverick Journey

That F-150 Heritage Edition is gorgeous, makes me kind of want one even though I have no use for a truck that massive and expensive.
  17. Trading in vehicle with worn tires? - Answered.

I wouldn't spend a dime on tires, the dealer would likely replace them anyway. Instead I'd have the vehicle thoroughly detailed inside and out and touch up any paint scratches.
  18. Did you leave a deposit with your dealer for your order?

That or the likely hood of your ordered truck may never arrive and the dealer pocketed your $500. That was a gamble I'll never take.
  19. Did you leave a deposit with your dealer for your order?

Pierre Ford of Seattle (and their Harris Ford of Lynnwood showroom) didn't require a deposit. Before I settled to do business with Pierre, every other Ford dealer in the Seattle-Tacoma area asked for at least $500 refundable deposit, except for Bickford Ford in Snohomish they wanted $500...
