  2. 🚨 2025 Maverick Debut! Pricing, Tech Specs, Order Guide, Wallpaper Photos, Videos

I went and configured a ‘25 in the same spec as my ‘23 (XLT FX4, no 4K no Lux, extra cost for HPR, MSRP of $29.5k) and not only it came to almost $36k, by selecting FX4 it required the Lux package (additional $2.5k). I see the new Ruby Red Metallic is cheaper than HPR. I justified having bought...
  3. 🚨 2025 Maverick Debut! Pricing, Tech Specs, Order Guide, Wallpaper Photos, Videos

Overall solid update, even I got around to liking the refreshed front end. But my niggles are mostly on the removal of physical climate control knobs and buttons. Super annoying that most automakers are doing this these days. I guess it’s okay if you just set it on AUTO and forget it, but pretty...
  4. Who Says the Maverick Isn't a Real Truck?

    Same, last weekend.
  5. Pacific Northwest Mavericks

I went with Line-X (Truck Builders in Lynnwood) and they did excellent work. I also know of a Line-X dealer in Kirkland, recommended by Ford of Kirkland.

    Taken after the holidays.
  7. Does Anyone Drive an EB Infrequently and for Short Trips With No Battery Charge Issues?

Mine only has 1600 miles since purchase back in June and driven on an average of 20-30 miles each weekend. It sits for the rest of the week while I daily commute my other vehicle. So far no battery issues, but I’ll have to drive it more often.
  8. Fleet Usage

Saw these at a HQ of a construction contractor company last year. Fleet of six or eight XL, all with temp tags.
  9. 🙋‍♂️ What did you do TO / WITH your Maverick today?

Bought two sets of this keychain. We’ll see how these will hold up. Available in HPR, white and Cyber Orange. Ten bucks. Amazon
  10. Low beams are bright!

I had gotten flashed several times, even honked at twice. I threw on my high beams to show them. Rather have brighter lights than other drivers that have their headlights OFF while driving at night.
  11. Fords choice of Maverick as a name

The first-gen Escape was sold under the Maverick name in Europe, having replaced the previous Nissan-based SUV. https://www.autoblog.com/2021/06/08/europeans-already-associate-the-ford-maverick-name-with-the-outdoors/
  12. Fords choice of Maverick as a name

The Maverick name hasn’t been used in North America since the 70s up until now, but Ford kept the name going mainly on overseas SUV and truck models (mostly rebadged Nissans for the EU and Australia). Did a deep dive in the Google machine and pulled these out… Austrailia Europe
  13. Debating maverick haters is exhausting

Unless these “tough” guys on the internet forums and comment sections handed me a check of upwards of $50k-$70k to buy a “real truck” because they feel like they want to dominate my purchasing decisions to tailor fit theirs , STFU and enjoy your vehicle while I enjoy mine.
  14. HOT WHEELS Maverick FINALLY! (Sneak Peek Preview)

Still holding out for Maisto to drop a 1:18 scale diecast
  15. Has anyone ordered FX4 without 4K Towing

My XLT FX4 doesn’t have 4K. I never towed with any of my vehicles so I couldn’t justify spending the $745.
  16. Toyota EPU all electric pickup concept debut today at Japan Mobility Show

They can keep that one overseas. Not a fan of the wheelbase and short rear overhang proportions. Also that rear door window design looks to be a big blind spot. If Toyota USA can bring a compact truck with design similarities of the Tacoma and Tundra for the North American market, and depending...
