There was definitely a battery issue with the '22. While I was lucky enough to escape major issues, I did go through three batteries at the expense of the Ford warranty and my time. So far and 600 miles later, the '24 Lariat has been nothing but a pleasure. Good luck with yours going forward CutisB.

I took delivery of a 24 Lariat hybrid a month ago. I was able to get back what I paid for the 22 XLT Lux hybrid with 16K miles on a trade and I have no regrets. I am out of the recall hamster wheel and resetting the warranty is piece of mind. I do miss the keypad but I'm slowly getting over it...

I took the case off of my Samsung and it started charging right away. Then it quickly turned into a hot plate heating the phone up so much that it stopped charging. So this little (not so cool) feature is probably not going to work out.

I don't want to split hairs with anybody here but technically the powertrain warranty is 5/60 along with the roadside assist, while the hybrid components are 8/100. At any rate he's still good at 35K but still sucks big time.

Good for you. I gave up on that cause a year ago. It's a good 2 inch drop from the end of the gate. The service adviser couldn't give two spits about it. It'll soon be their problem though when I trade it in later this month. Along with the outstanding recall.

Good luck finding a replacement battery, there was a nationwide backorder until recently. They are becoming available but remain scarce, at least in Ohio. I called my dealer today just to check and they have ONE in stock.

Don't even bother taking it to the dealer. They will likely tell you the battery needs replaced but alas, yes there are no batteries today. That T4 series has been on backorder since last I checked.

I have a complaint: nobody is complaining here. Just seems so unnatural.

Love my 22 XLT Hybrid. The minor deep sleep issues have been really, just that. The recalls don't seem to be above average compared to other major auto manufacturers. Great ride, decent performance, 40 mpg average (no lie), more than adequate utility and everyone who has been along for a ride...
