Have you taken this to your dealer with reference to the technical service bulletin? I'm fairly certain you have a loose connection with your wiring harness that needs to be replaced....or you have a faulty battery(but this is less likely IMO). There is no way you should need to boost this much...
So dealer changed the battery out as it wasn't sustaining a charge and just re-fastened the existing harness....they dont want to change out everything if it's not the culprit yet and luckily, they can get a wiring harness quickly if that doesn't solve the issue.
It's almost as if my Mav was listening to me complain as the deep sleep modes have stopped the past few days...Granted I drove a lot more over the weekend so that probably helped the battery stay charged a bit better. Anyways, it's at the dealer now so we'll see what they come back with.
nice! Did you call a specific Ford number or just regular customer service? I just referenced the technical service bulletin they they sent around in Sept.
My Hybrid - Built on May 10 (before cut off date on the loose wiring harness connection issues noted on Technical Service Bulletin 22-2340)
Past few days it started going into deep sleep mode after every drive. my OBD reader is saying that when parked, voltage is going down to low 12s...
not 100$ sure the price diff
Not sure the price diff of aftermarket SIBL, but I presume it will be a few hundred more potentially. Worth it IMO. I should also mention that not sure if it's me only but tailgate assist installed, the way it cable bunches up as the tailgate closes, there's some...
Fellow Ontarian here with XL!
Regrets:
-getting factory spray in bedliner. After market spray (line-x) has superior coverage particularly at the tailgate.
-getting factory floor mats as coverage is not that good (though I will admit at the time, tuxmat didn't have anything so it was a good...
Is it just me but when new tires are remounted on the factory steelies, the original wheel weight that has to be removed leaves a pretty deep gouge in the tire paint!
So Tuxmat update:
They seem to be restocked! (only front and rear combo tho?) I just got mine and I got to say I am impressed with the quality and feel. We'll see how they do in the winter.
I've had weathertech in my older cars and they held up ok so I do think it just boils down the...
Recommend doing PPF after you take delivery as they have better options with more coverage. The factory installed PPF is minimal coverage. Yes, it's likely more money but consider it an investment in the long term if you want to minimize the amount of paint chips you get
so just an update:
Amazon still has the Ford Maverick Hybrid mats available (maybe they have set allocations that differ from the website) and I tried ordering it yesterday (and it shipped!)...so I will keep you posted (for those interested in TuxMat)
Just venting but I Tuxmat hybrid floor mats sold out in like 2 days! I got the notification on Saturday, and then checked today and ALL GONE with no ETA on next batch. JEEZE didn't realize it was that popular.
Guess I'll have to go with Weathertech as winter is coming.
The shop I'm getting a quote from is local to Toronto (Joy City Wheels) and unfortunately I don't think they deliver. I can get the +40 offset for $430 taxes included...in general, their prices are hard to beat though. Another online resource that seems pretty good is partsengine.ca...
I think the shop will be able to test when bring it in. I’m in Toronto and most of the steelies quotes I’m getting are for +52/55 offset. One shop is able to get +40 but it’ll be a bit more.
Also, do you plan on re-using the centre cap from your stock XL steel? If so, don’t get new lugnuts or...

Canadian (Toronto) Mav XL Hybrid delivery and review at 4000kms:
(Ordered Nov 2021 )
(Build date - May 2022)
(Delivery - June 2022)
Delivery was smooth. Dealer (Donway Ford) honored price and rates when I ordered.
Only issues (and honestly I would not...
I started a live chat with via the Ford pass app and got connected to the Ford Pass rewards department. They confirmed that some sales info was missing and got that info confirmed and said points should be in the account in 24hrs....hopefully thats the issue for most of you with delayed points...
