Some dealerships seem to be more reliable than others when it comes to ordering parts. I've ordered parts for delivery from Eastgate Ford and has always been shipped in a timely manner (splash guards, bedside cubbies, etc)
Im in Ontario and I have the front red sticker on my license plate. in the past, all license plate stickers were always placed on the front license for truck license plates
I believe it's illegal to do any mark ups especially in Ontario. You should be price protected from the day you ordered your truck. Glad you were able to get your original quote.
From what I've read and researched (though who knows how reliable the information sometimes), it's good to do the first oil change way earlier than the suggested interval changes. It's even worthwhile to consider doing an oil change shortly after the break in period (1000mile/1600km) because...
Curious how the corners at the tailgate look? I did the strip across the top like you did (but had to put it a bit lower because it doesn't close well with the cover closed.
The edges are a bit open tho but I guess that's standard?
My list (taking position in a week!). Note that I'm a XL so some of the things I'm getting are standard on XLT..lol. These are in no particular order but I'll likely have most of it before taking the truck. Love that amazon..lol
1. Tailgate dampener
2. Bedside cubby storage bins (going to get...
The order tracker is hit or miss sometimes..most of the time it's MISS for me. I enter in order number and VIN and it just resets the page pretty much. (https://shop.ford.ca/vehicleordertracking)
The last time I was able to update, it said mine is due between June 8 and June 14.....
Following this along with other threads reporting the same issue! I'm leaning towards just fixing myself vs having the hassle of having the dealer order a replacement part that is going to give you the same headache again down the road. I am curious to see if they fix it though and it was just...
From what I've read and learned from other posts, I don't think this trim actually prevents water from entering in and is more acoustical related potentially.
Either way though, I don't think having the dealer just replace the part will fix it long term...it'll just happen again over time...
Anybody have any swing away bike hitches? I’m looking at the Yakima Fullswing or the Thule swing away.
The issue I’m worried about is the vertical clearance of the bike hitch (circled). The Mav’s hitch is only like 3-4” below when the tailgate is open so not sure if that will hit it or not…...
So hopefully I'll be getting my truck in June and there's always been a slight hesitation with these more compact cars when it comes to rear facing car seats
A few years ago, I almost got the Bronco Sport but after I brought in my Diono Rear Facing to test out, it was 100% no go (I'm 5-10") as...
