  1. Appointment with damond motorsports

Yep, that sounds reasonable. In my old job, we would try to leave at least a few hundred bucks worth of product installed. Plus a discount if they wanted to buy anything else.
  2. Appointment with damond motorsports

I'm both a consumer and previously worked as a design engineer for a popular aftermarket brand. They still borrow my truck occasionally for tests and media. In my experience, there is no guaranteed compensation. Ideally, they should make an effort to leave some products installed on the vehicle...
  3. What is the best aftermarket fog lights for 2025 Maverick

Yep. Many of those produce excessive glare because they can't accurately mimic a halogen filament size and placement.
  4. What is the best aftermarket fog lights for 2025 Maverick

That's listed as offroad only. You need a properly aimed SAE-F (or F3) fog light pattern to be safely used in traffic.
  5. What is the best aftermarket fog lights for 2025 Maverick

https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/2025-fog-lights-by-diode-dynamics-in-development.76052/ They're clearly not coming "early" 2026, because it IS early 2026, but they are in process.
  6. News: Level 3 Eyes-Off Driving Technology to launch on $30K Ford EV Truck

Sharing this for the uninformed. Mavericks with ACC + Lane Centering are a lower level 2. Ford Blue Cruise is arguably a higher Level 2 Waymo is Level 4. Level 5 doesn't exist yet.
  7. Dashcam hardwire fuse recommendations for a 2022 xl

No Mavericks come with power in the rearview mirror from the factory. The harness taps into the dome light to provide power for aftermarket accessories like dashcams and auto-dimming mirrors.
  8. Dashcam hardwire fuse recommendations for a 2022 xl

I followed this thread: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/dash-cam-hardwiring.48465/ This harness is also a good option to avoid the hassle of routing wires up the A-pillar: https://www.ebay.com/itm/126939646204
  9. Driving Without An Ambient Temperature Sensor

Looking at your photos of the damage, I'd speculate that the wiring to/from the sensor is what is damaged. The sensor is mounted in the middle of the lower grille, which appears untouched. But the wire harness runs directly behind the area you got hit at. If the driver's side sidemarker in the...
  10. Funny Accessory Product Description

Companies like this don't do R&D. They're peddling white label products they've never seen for vehicles they don't know.
  11. Still getting Recall 22S47 notice after Engine Replacement.

Any combustion engine can leak flammable materials, not just the old one. It was never supposed to fix the improperly machined crankshaft in your old engine. The recall will follow the vehicle until complete, as federally required. If you ever sell the truck and it ends up on a dealer's lot...
  12. MGP caliper covers not available for 2025 models 🙁

Have the brakes changed for 2025? Or did someone not update their catalog? If I was a betting man, I'd go all in on the latter. The incompetence in the aftermarket parts industry is astounding.
  13. Maxzina New Year Giveaway:Spoiler

Best accessory: aftermarket tail lights because they added an amber turn signal. I'd like to see more aftermarket headlights this year.
  14. Flat Bottom Steering Wheel

There are many threads on here about the topic. You should swap your switches over to the new wheel. Maverick, Escape, EU Fiesta and Kuga steering wheels are interchangeable. Here's the USDM Escape ST steering wheel and part# I used back when I had a flat bottom...
  15. Fog Lights Design Poll - Vote Here

    They are working on it.
  16. Remote start to prevent battery saving mode (when out of town)?

The owner's manual should have a section about long term storage. People typically disconnect the battery and/or put it on a trickle charger.
  17. FX4 Fog Lights Detailed Install, Diode Dynamics SS3, JJC Brackets

The SKU for Hybrid is ML3Z-11654-DC
  18. Poor low beam road lighting performance on the Maverick

To be fair, a 2 degree squat would result in the beam raising over 5ft at a 150ft distance. It's still more than enough to glare everyone.
  19. Poor low beam road lighting performance on the Maverick

I agree with IIHS, which rates them "Acceptable", but not ideal by today's standards. They fall short on LH turns and seem to have a bit more glare than is necessary for "sign lighting". They perform better than most vehicles I've owned, but not as good as a typical OEM LED projector.
  20. Lobo @ 10k Miles Update / Photo Dump

For the 2025 refresh, they changed the brake light wiring. 2022-24 has both brake light bulbs powered together from the same wire, but 2025 has separate wires for the top and bottom brake light sections.
