You joke, but questionable business practices should be called out.
Panda made sales that could have otherwise went to competing retailers, brand ambassadors, or DD (d.b.a. Form Lighting) directly. There is real financial harm in their actions.
See this thread.
If you just want the upholstery, you could probably swap the Lariat cushions onto your original seat frame, like people do with Focus ST seats.
It's a small slice of a much larger pie. Here are a couple other ways to frame the data:
The Maverick outsold all of Dodge, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo combined
The Maverick will have 100% market share in "small" trucks with the Santa Cruz discontinued
Ram only sold 431k trucks in 2025 -- nearly half...
There aren't any off-the-shelf products specifically for the Maverick to dress up the pinch weld.
But you could lower the truck a few more inches so it's harder to see.
The color-matched lamp bezels are a great touch. It's tasteful. I think "raptor lights" might look too cluttered.
Fun fact: they're actually called identification lamps, and they're legally required to indicate the presence of an abnormally large vehicle (greater than 2032mm wide, per FMVSS...
Is this happening frequently, like many were before the recall? If not, it's probably not worth stressing about.
You can soft-reset the unit by holding the Power and Track Forward buttons down at the same time.
On a serious note, I'd love to see more of your manufacturing operation. Do you have any walkthrough videos?
It's a little surprising that you might manufacture gas struts in the US when it's so easy to source affordable units overseas. Unless you're secretly a Tier 2 or 3 supplier to the big...
Appreciate the enthusiasm—but reading these AI-generated posts is genuinely excruciating.
The Issue:
They’re long, over-engineered, and feel more like a spec sheet written by a chatbot than a human response.
The Result:
Instead of clarity, it’s just noise. Lots of words, very little signal...
To be fair, this appears to be the second boot crimp failure ever reported on here.
With 125-150k trucks made each year, the failure rate for boot installation could be near Six Sigma.
It doesn't really compare to the Maverick.
Pretty similar to any other new body-on-frame 4x4. Not very smooth, probably worse than the Maverick, but pretty decent with street tires. My biggest complaint is the creaking noises from the optional hardtop flexing.
My truck (FWD hybrid) is basically undrivable in wet, slushy snow with traction control on. It cuts power at the slightest slip, so I can't even accelerate past 3-5mph.
But for grip, you need appropriate snow tires. Or learn how to drive without grip (traction control off), at your own risk...
I'd recommend you get a cover that either rolls up or flips up against the cabin, so you have use of the full bed length. If you had to haul any large items, the Rough Country cover would need to be completely removed.
Unless you're physically disabled, I see no reason to pay someone to install...
