I was definitely having this issue the 1st week of owning. For me, it was after I pulled the handle, I was pushing the door open from the same area and causing it to lock. Since I realized what was happening, I usually push it open from further back or from the lower handle in a 2nd motion.
What are you talking about? The hybid 2.5L does not have DI, period. It is port injected only. Also, the hybrid is not an EB motor. It does not have a turbo.
I drove mine to the bank and deposited the cash from selling my old VW Touareg! Took a bit more than 6 weeks, but I made out about $4K better than what the dealer was offering on trade.
The Maverick is light, not super aerodynamic, and has smallish wheels/tires. Don't expect it to be super stable at high speeds. I feel it too above 70. Nowhere near as stable as my previous cars.
Pretty sure its the A cap from videos I've seen. Hard to say for sure, but chances are, there is only access to one of them, as mentioned above, next to the battery.
Fords and many others come with semi-metallic which is not "cheaper". Yes, they cause more dust and they wear faster, but they also provide stronger initial braking. Its a trade off. I prefer a good initial grab on my brakes for emergency situations and would gladly replace the brakes 10k miles...
So I ordered the full Truxedo setup with Sentry CT/TS Rails/Elevate CS rack on June 13th. The Sentry and TS rails came in a few days. Keep getting an email update every 3 days with an updated "Estimated delivery date" for the CS racks. I noticed that they are showing "This Product is Temporarily...
Kayaks vary greatly in their length and weight. Mine are 12.5 and 14 feet long and there is no way I'll put them in the bed. I'm waiting for a set of Elevate CS racks to come...hopefully before kayak season is over :(
I plugged into ForScan one time and realized I need to do quite a bit of learning 1st. I was totally lost. Its quite a bit different than the VCDS system I'm used to.
April production for me. No windshield noise so far (2300 miles). Overall, its quieter than I expected, but maybe that is the underappreciated step up the Lariat gives. No comment on the paint yet. It looks good. Haven't gotten any chips yet though.
That's nice if your dealer:
a) knows how to use the system.
b) is willing to share.
Mine was neither. I had to get the railcar number from Ford Chat and track it using CSX's phone system. Once it was dropped at the final ramp (50 miles away) I just had to wait until it showed up because my...
That's not good. I would hope that Ford covers that under warranty. A car that is not in the rust belt should not have rust through the paint after less than 2 years. That's a factory defect.
