Why would anyone do that with a hybrid? The electric motor makes max torque at zero rpm. No need to power brake, unless you want to "break" something. No pun intended.
If you're under 1 year and 10K miles, they should cover everything, even "wear items" like brakes.
$700 is way too high for a front brake job also. If they don't fix it, take it to an indy Ford mechanic. It's probably $200 in parts and a 1 hr job.
Also, small grooves in the front brakes are not...
I'm sure it will fit. Many have installed it already. I wonder if they are just out of stock in that size. Also, I was given a little higher price back in the middle of May...that is why I was asking when you ordered.
How long ago did you order and get that price? Interesting that the RealTruck website says the SentryCT is not compatible with the Maverick now...
It used to be a choice. I've reached out to Alex to see what he says.
I-95 is like a gauntlet. Sorry to hear this happened. I'd be very upset. Hopefully they can get the parts and your insurance company is good to deal with.
Hate to say it, but your dealer actually has no clue exactly when it will arrive. That's just an estimate from Ford. Take a look at all the tracking threads. Sometimes, the rail car will sit for a week or more. Once it is unloaded from the train, it can be a few days to many weeks. Just be...
I actually think my Lariat seats are too soft. I prefer seats with firm foam for support on long trips. I can feel the seats give too much in the back area. I haven't driven it yet for more than an hour yet. This weekend coming up, I'm taking it on the 1st road trip about 8hrs each way. I'll...
Personally, I would never use the scissor jack for anything but a roadside emergency. They are not meant to be repeatedly used for maintenance. Buy a decent quality hydraulic floor jack with at least 18" lifting and at least 3 tons capacity, get a hockey puck, and lift from where the suspension...
The Estimated Arrival date updates itself based on certain tracking movements. I suspect the train might not have left yet. It may update to a different set of dates when it pulls out. For mine, it updated when it hit Nogales and changed train companies. It updated when it arrived in St. Louis...
There is still a blend date for the Maverick, even though it is not shown on the MY23 window stickers. We just have to guess now base on when the modules populate. Last year the date was shown on the sticker (in code). It is when the engine meets the body assembly on the final assembly/trim line.
SIBL only adds a few days now. It might have been different during MY22. My 23 has it. I had a build date on Thursday, SIBL was done and the cargo management was installed and everything showed Built by Sunday.
"In Production" is a loose term. That means that some of the parts for sub-assemblies are being put together, the body may be getting welded and sent to paint...the assembly line is really the last part of a process that can start several days ahead. The "blend date" is when things really happen...
I personally like the fact that the Maverick fits into my standard garage size with a foot+ to spare in the front and back. A longer bed, and that wouldn't happen. Like others have said, use the diagonal...
