  1. Water filtration for washing your Maverick ??

For almost 40 years, I've used tap water. The level of stress about this is redonculous. They make very nice drying chamois and microfiber towels. Keep it wet until you hand dry it and there are no issues even with the hardest water.
  2. Tracking Shipment

Unfortunately the trucking portion of tracking (palsapp) doesn't work anymore. Only the dealer can get that info.
  3. Forscan launch control

Can't imagine launch control would do much on a non-Dual clutch transmission. Nothing more than brake torquing anyway.
  4. Maverick down, I repeat MAVERICK XL HYBRID DOWN! ($15k in airbags, $15k in body and paint damage repair)

As much as I hate the constant advertising by all these ambulance chasing accident attorneys, this may be an instance where it might be worth looking into legal council to deal with the other driver's insurance company. You have injuries, pain, and suffering; You have a vehicle that cannot be...
  5. Promo code

Did you reply to him and say that you wanted to purchase?
  6. Promo code

Email him at [email protected] or [email protected] (choose one, not both). Tell him your MTC username and what you are looking at purchasing and he will respond with his best pricing. He got back to me in less than 24hrs. There isn't a promo code.
  7. In case you expected privacy

That page is BS. I put in the VIN of my old 2005 Subaru (no bluetooth, no GPS, no telematics) and it shows that it shares biometrics, location, profiles, etc.
  8. Speaker upgrade options for XLT Hybrid?

Nothing is exactly plug and play. Aftermarket speakers use different terminals. I advise looking at Crutchfield for your purchase. Lots of choices across all the price ranges. They will give you an install guide as well. They typically include adapters that make the jump from the factory wiring...
  9. Seeing more Mavericks on the road?

My second day owning one last week, I was driving to pickup my daughter after work and I saw a First Edition XLT Maverick in my rear view mirror going down the same back country road near me. I was kinda surprised. He turned off before we could stop and chat :ROFLMAO:
  10. 2.0 Ecoboost reliability??

So much bad advice in this thread. It should be deleted.
  11. MEANING OF PER DIEM RELIEF

OK, that is strange. It gave me Gibson Indiana from last November, so I guess CSX isn't the solution on this one. The last week or two waiting was the hardest for me...Hang in there.
  12. MEANING OF PER DIEM RELIEF

Don't use voice, use keypad. What is your railcar #?
  13. Tires warping at 6,000 miles

I don't see any issues with the tires in those photos...
  14. Maverick down, I repeat MAVERICK XL HYBRID DOWN! ($15k in airbags, $15k in body and paint damage repair)

Bummer. Most likely totaled. Maybe you can put in a 24 order and get by with something temporary?
  15. MEANING OF PER DIEM RELIEF

Through all of this, I don't understand why you didn't/haven't called CSX. I found their tracking to be excellent all the way with pretty clear identification of each stop and then when the car was empty heading back. I knew exaxctly when it arrived at my Ramp and pretty much within 12 hours of...
  16. Waiting at the destination rail yard

Mine was actually exactly a week from the time it was unloaded to arrival at the dealer. Longest week of my life :ROFLMAO:
  17. Odometer miles at delivery?

Mine had 17, but the salesman had gone to gas it up, so probably a few less off the trailer.
  18. App question about the Maverick radio.

Stream with Spotify, Pandora, Radio Paradise, etc. Yes, with Android Auto, the sound comes from phone apps. You may be able to play the radio and have the Waze App run on the phone, but not show on the screen. I'm not sure if that will give the directions over the phone speaker or if it will be...
  19. Maverick in production and question

If you are dealing with a good dealer, you should be fine on all accounts. Just stay in touch with your salesman and watch the rail tracking so you know when to expect it and be ready to get to the dealer asap when it arrives.
  20. Eight months have passed and still no Maverick.

I would take off mud guards, drop in bed liner, and the soft cover ASAP. That is holding you back big time. Those were contraints last year and they continued into this year. As Tim Bartz has said many times, don't put any bed accessories on your order! They are all things that can be added later.
