I'm probably starting too early (going for a 2023), but has anyone else been phoning around tracking which dealerships are asking what for Maverick orders? And saving a doc with the results of those calls and the name of who you spoke to?
Or am I just way too OCD about this?
So, I might've missed this, but have you checked the alternator and regulator? Or just the alternator if it's self- regulated?
I've had enough problems with my mom's old '73 F-100 that the alternator and regulator are the first thing to check when it's not charging. Yes, I know they're...
Does anyone know if the trailer hitch and 4-pin are still constrained on non-4k Mavericks? I sort of remember there being an availability issue, but that was the last I'd heard of it.
In my case, it's a matter of sunk costs. When my Colorado got smashed a bit over a year and a half ago, I needed something quick that I thought I could pull a small camper with. The used Jeep I got, needed about $5k worth of repairs at the time, and another $12k to get to where it could reliably...
So, a couple of FB groups keep having posts of dealerships charging $100 for a pre- order slot for Mavericks. When I called one of the people who paid it out, they said the dealerships were only getting "80 to 100" allocations for Maverick orders and something to the effect of them only entering...
Yeah, and if Apple was still using its '90s business model and marketing solely based on PowerPC benchmarks relative to Intel (and if Intel hadn't started cheating by cramming multiple CPUs onto a single die), it would've probably died with BeOS about the same time Windows XP came out. Or more...
How rigid are the raised ones? My concern with vinyl is not getting them in the right spot.
Also, has anyone seen a set of super- reflective red ones? I've driven past the one in my neighborhood a few times at night, and I'd like a bit more reflectiveness when I finally get mine.
From reading on here a lot, the Deep Sleep issue is caused by a wiring harness issue between the high voltage battery and the 12v battery. Something to do with the 12v battery not getting charged.
Is there a recall on it, or did anyone ever get a permanent fix worked out? I sort of remember one...
A blue one just moved into the neighborhood, a few blocks away from me. So I can now see one in person every day. Think it's an XL since it's got steelies.
I've heard talk that plugging in a pass- thru trailer light tester into the trailer plug will get the job done. I think there's also a plug- in chip that'll do it as well.
Never had a problem with a front plate. And TBH it's not *that* hard to design a front bumper for a front plate. I guess car designers' refusal says more about them than whether or not a state requires it- they absolutely cannot have their design tarnished in any way by putting in an extra bracket.
Anyone had a good experience with Houston/Galveston dealers? Especially ones that don't charge ADM or add "protection packages."
Especially when the order banks open back up in August. I'd rather not have to make reservations at five or six dealerships hoping to get a good one.
You missed the part earlier on where I pointed out how the people who really set oil prices are the guys at the commodities exchange, and how gas prices are based on that but still pretty arbitrary. And like stock prices, commodities prices can be really volatile depending on the news. For...
