Even when my windshield is completely cleaned-off I regularly get messages about 5km into my commute that the windshield sensor is obscured so no auto high beams, no traffic collision, etc.
I have to drive with the MAX defrost on and the sun visors down for another 5km to get that stuff back...
Doing the settings hokey-pokey and not knowing what fixed the (any) issue is not what you'd expect from a properly designed and tested system.
More and more I'm convinced they are pushing out badly written and poorly tested software, hoping that most work well enough to keep sales rolling.
I...
We have a pre- MY25 XL hybrid at work (sorry don't know the year, seriously doubt it is older than MY23) that surges at a stop very infrequently. I don't drive that unit but have been in it twice where it has happened.
The guy who drives it swears it only ever happens when the nose of the...
I'd be all over that if I didn't already store my hitch and extra balls in there. That looks pretty cool.
Now... if the little divider bewteen the upper and lower sections could be incorporated into something else - like maybe an underseat divider so it doesn't rattle around in my glove box...
In my case last week it started a weird thing were I get *either* phone/music *or* android auto.
This means I can navigate, answer calls and texts I get but I cannot call/text anyone. Only respond. To call or text someone I have to go to the phone list and switch from AA to phone.
It was...
Pest control is my job.
As others have stated, get them *before* they get in and your life is so much better.
All of our structural rodent control processes use outside bait stations as the primary line of defence. Any inside control devices we use are to catch the ones that get past the...
We are getting another Maverick at work, maybe within the next 2 weeks.
In our particular case we can buy and feed a hybrid Maverick for just what we spend on gas in the Promaster van. And we can do 90+% of what we do with the van with the Maverick.
The best part? I won't have to sit in the...
I generally use the touch the handle thing to lock/unlock my MY25 XLT Hybrid. about 30% of the time it will not lock. The unlock function has been 100% perfect so far. But the lock not working makes me angry. Sometimes one side works and the other doesn't.
Seemingly random and hateful
I use plastic NATO cans from Sceptre. They ride in the cab sometimes. I wouldn't ever put any other can in my cab though.
The Sceptre NATO cans have done 6-week treks inside, never an issue. Spendy (the spout alone costs more than most cans) but there is nothing else like them.
If winter...
This might be the single most ridiculous thing I've encountered on this forum yet.
If I were worried about a heart attack I would spend my energy getting my BP down (probably by eliminating carbs from my diet) *LONG* before I ever worried about door locks.
What isn't? I think ditch water is.
As a related aside, I was expecting the quality oif Tim Horton's tea to improve with the current demographic running it - and the individual locations - but alas, no. They are my option of last resort, generally only when on road trips.
I *would* love to...
Not yet - but I expect to. I've come to expect truly weird and random glitches. Apart from my truck going full retard and needing to be towed/fixed, I get all sorts of weird things. Latest was the auto highbeams didn't work for a few days. This morning they started working again on their...
Killing critters I don't eat isn't my favourite option, but protecting my stuff is a higher priority for me.
I've tried deterrents and in my specific situation I decided I wouldn't live long enough to figure out how to protect my stuff and not kill them.
Cheers
I'm a licensed pest management guy - all my stuff is protected from rodents by final solutions. The only things they chew around here are their last meal.
