Where I live the highest point of land is an eye-watering 150m (~492 feet!) above sea level and I've driven by there as close as the road goes.
Thankfully the maverick is fuel injected so I didn't have to rejet the carb...
I bought some cargo tie-down loops to put in the bed - I don't need a fancy OEM or even DIY system with rails and sliding bits. Just fixed tie downs would be awesome.
I bought some bolts from amazon that claimed to be the exact match. They do not fit
I checked all the threads I could find...
Never seen one but I bet it's tied to how you open it. I'm guessing there is a lever/fob/button and those can be tracked super easily. Hell even a contact switch tied to the bus would tattle on it being opened.
Never underestimate the value of telemetry... to everyone but YOU
I do. That's how I know the EV coach shows increased power consumption when you push the brakes harder.
Didn't stop my MY26 from bumping into the car ahead of me at a red light.
Dealership appointment this week to hopefully get an exorcism
Ford is terrible for the features you get for the price.
Why? Because enough people don't care enough for Ford to care.
You're not fighting Ford so much as Ford customers.
Good luck.
At the risk of a total thread hijack - I get that. Bernoulli's theorem (taught almost universally as why things fly) doesn't cover a lot of things like ground effect, symmetrical airfoils like on at least one Pitts version (that oddly enough flies faster inverted) etc.
Kites are a special case...
BWAHAHAHAHA
Thanks - I needed that this morning. A good chuckle and some fond memories.
(BTW - that shouldn't fly according to what they teach in school - and FLIGHT school - about airfoils, lift, and why planes fly. LOL)
Not sure if you can do media from the peanut gallery... we were just trying to keep our phones and flashlights charged between jobs.
The USB worked to charge stuff - then it didn't. Continued to not work until the next day.
Random weirdness we now laugh about (way too often)... and we make...
Yes. In the rear seat area, behind the center console.
BTW - the front USB ports worked today.
Just another maverick "what will work or not today" situation I guess.
I think TEMU sells more reliable junk
I was driving the MY26 XL hybrid work truck the other day. Stopped at a red light, one car ahead of me. With no warning the truck surged forward and I hit the car in front.
No damage to either vehicle but the POS maverick is going into the dealer to see if there is anything they can fix so...
New MY26 hydrib work truck - both the USB ports under the dash stopped working. The ones behind the console work so far.
The truck is going in for other issues (brakes let go at an intersection) next week so that will be added to the order.
Is there any other new vehicle with so much promise...
100%
I drive with the heated seats on throughout the year - almost never because my butt is cold but because the heat really helps with my back issues.
Being able to have just the back portion heated would be a MAJOR improvement in my life.
I may have to figure out a way to switch the seat...
Our Mavericks at work carry 1 or 2 people almost exclusively - the only time the back seat is used for people is once a year to carry extra people to a conference in the area.
Removing the rear seats and replacing them with storage/shelves would be ideal for our jobs. As it is we carry a lot...
