Service issue?
I own 2, and use 2 at work. All of them will make you turn the heat down no matter how cold it is outside.
Sounds like yours isn't working properly.
I wasn't aware of them until I started working at my current (post-retirement lol) job. I got a ride with a guy in the work hybrid XL.
I now own two... and seriously hope someone - *anyone?* - comes out with a competing model.
I've driven the work AWD hybrid through deeper snow than that, on steeper inclines. With the OEM Conti summer tires. I'm amazed where I can go without snow tires.
Something doesn't add up.
I've never experienced any significant wheel spin, even in a parking lot trying to get the thing to...
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 9. It took some doing but I eventually got it connected to my MY25 (the Android Auto was the problem - the phone connected for calls/music no problem)
It *will not* connect Android Auto to the MY26 at work. Something at the truck end has changed.
I have not tried...
I'm not seriously proposing it, but if you truly want people to drive more safely you would remove all ABS, airbags, seatbelts and other "safety" devices*** and put a large, sharp spike on the steering column.
Make anything other than safe driving a literal danger to the driver and see how...
The maverick slams them down at startup whether you've manually pulled them up or "parked" them in the service position. So if there's something blocking their path or they are frozen to the windshield you may have damaged them.
Worse, if you've pulled them away from the window, at startup you...
Mavericks do. The problem is you have to choose between parking the wipers up and remote starting. IE: you can either scrape the windshield *OR* preheat the vehicle. Where I live making that choice for the next morning is pretty tricky the night before.
Mine has gone off when I've been in the left lane and someone pulled out of a gas station into the right lane. No where near me.
Mine has gone off going through a 2-lane roundabout with no one else in the roundabout - best guess is that it freaked out about a snowbank 2+ lanes over from me...
100%
Years back we had two "Rangers" - the Mazda versions. A B3000 then a B4000. They were awesome little trucks in every regard *EXCEPT* mileage. They were the thirstiest things I've owned this side of my '78 & '79 Broncos. Absolutely ridiculous fuel consumption.
Fast-forward to the pair...
That reminds me of another haunting issue!
once - only once - i was adjusting the seat heat to a higher temp and the music source switched to AM. I didn't know AM was still a thing.
The wife used to have the "nice" car and I drove the beater - whatever it was (last one was given to me lol). So we always traveled in her car, most recently a Mazda CX-30.
When I bought our 1st Maverick, we immediately decided to travel in the Mav... comparable (better?) mileage on the highway...
Probably going to get winter tires and steelies for next year so threads like this will be handy to have bookmarked.
This year I'm just running the OEM contis and so far so good.
(I've always lived where we get snow - snow belt of southern Ontario, Northern Ontario, Labrador, PEI, etc) and...
Noticed the other day in the 26 XL hybrid work truck - when stopped, the harder you press the brake pedal the bigger the electric power bar on the EV coach.
Same thing with my 25 XLT. I generally only press the pedal hard enough to hold any vehicle from rolling. But my work partner was...
Without changing any settings on my phone or truck I get randomly different things on my big screen. Sometimes the navigation map (mostly happens with Google Maps, seldom with Waze) is full-screen. Sometimes the map is maybe 2/3 with YouTube Music the other 1/3. I have *NEVER* used YouTube...
If they can keep track of which options are in any particular truck, they should be able to keep track of which manual goes with it.
Stupid in this age to have the manuals a collection of everything possible and expect the owners to sort it out.
