They don't work with the online converters to STL, unfortunately. I tried converting them to STL for TinkerCad, but all I got was some really broken meshes.
Someone was speculating that we could see bigger screens on some trim packages.
It's efficient until you have a hiccup in the supply chain, like we do now. And pretty much every US sector was using "just in time" delivery instead of keeping inventory, which is why everything is so maximally disrupted. It's not just Ford that can't get its stuff "just in time"- it's everyone...
Let's hope they do ads. The only reason I found out about it was CNN did a review of it. Otherwise it'll end up like the Nissan Juke- fun to drive but discontinued because nobody was buying it.
I could see that for under the back seat, but I'd really be hesitant about using it anywhere else. It could end up like the mid '90s all over again with people breaking into trucks to steal rifles off the gun racks.
Thanks
Doing a test print right now. My big concern is that I might've made everything too shallow, but we won't know until about this time tomorrow morning at the earliest.
Here's a draft. I probably tried making it look too much like something injection- molded, but hopefully it'll work.

I'll be honest, this thread has me tempted to see if I can design a pen- and- notebook holder for the cubby. Something that can take one of my fat 3D printed fountain pens, and maybe a small "passport" notebook.
Swear I saw one of those at an O'Reilly a while back, for those of us who don't like feeding Amazon.
Either way, that's pretty cool if a trailer brake tester is all you need to disable that.
It's one of those things that works great on paper, but is going to cause nothing but trouble for older vehicles. Biggie is when it takes more than a few seconds to start and you need those seconds to cross an intersection because the light's timed badly.
Having driven one of those cars where...
Good to know. I've got a suction bleeder kit that I bought for my Jeep- in- a- barn (long story), so at least now I know to not try bleeding with it.
Intellesting. Had a feeling it was something like that.
Now that I think about it, it's kinda weird they never did have a maintenance plan for...
Former "NA" Miata owner here.
An interference engine is one where the valves could hit the face of the piston if things get too far out of whack- like if the timing chain is adjusted too far or actually breaks. A non- interference design has enough clearance that it can't happen.
This mattered...
The owner's manual says to change the brake fluid every 3 years. Interesting for me, for a couple of reasons. Like, I don't remember seeing that instruction in other owner's manuals. They normally just say "Check brake linings." Which is probably holdover language from drum brakes, but anyway...
More like the Pasadena area here, and I'm stuck waiting until orders open back up, so I'll probably getting mine late this year or early next.
Probably just going to get an XL with the 4k and maybe the back seat cigarette lighter.
