Honestly, Ram and Jeep are both expensive brands. Any compact truck they made would probably start around $24k, if not way higher. And it'd immediately get ripped by both communities.
Also, with Chrysler's build quality? Not sure I'd want to buy one. The Maverick has its own set of problems...
Agreed, it's not like even the FX4 and 4K is designed for hardcore offroading or pulling huge trailers. This one's closer to my grandfather's old F-100 (which my dad still drives 50 years later). It'll get you to the pecan trees on the back forty.
And since you mentioned unnecessary waste of...
I'm up to five now. One at a gas station, two white ones sitting at a dealership- probably a fleet order, a blue one on the street, and now a red one going into a car wash.
I don't think there's enough dealer inventory for me to get a test drive yet. =(
Yeah, not just impaired drivers. There's been a couple of times my wife and I have taken the wrong side of a median because of glare, one time I was lost in downtown Houston and took a wrong turn, and one time I thought I was on a one- way street and it wasn't.
None of those are very often and...
Dunno, if it's anything like the issue with Jeep Liberty gas tanks, it'll end up getting fixed. Although in the Liberty's case it ended up with Chrysler giving every LIbby owner a free hitch receiver instead of a gas tank replacement. Gas tank issues are serious business.
Anyone bothered to take down the measurements of the cubby? Bolt holes, that sort of thing? Sounds like it'd make for a good 3D printing project. Just bust out some PCTG or ABS, or another UV resistant filament (or maybe even painted PLA if you're feeling brave).
Ohmigawd, clocks. Wind- up, electric wind- up, or just flat electric?
I ask because my Karmann Ghia had a (non- working) clock that has some automatic winding mechanism that would draw power from the battery for less than a second. It made this super faint click that you'd only hear if you were...
Nope. The Cadillac Escalade pickup didn't sell well, and it brought down the Chevy Avalanche (since the Escalade EXT was an Avalanche with a front clip). The Lincoln pickup has been done to death already in this thread. The only people who want a truck from a luxury brand are Jeep drivers, and...
My grandfather's '73 F-100 came with a radio and cigarette lighter delete. So you could strip them down even further. Also didn't have carpet- just rubber floor mats like Chevy's W/T fleet package. Have too bad a day on the farm, just pull the mats out and hose them off.
Agreed. The price alone...
Yeah, that was sorta my thought as well? On my MacBook Air's screen, it looks like a tomato red in almost all the pics. Unless my GPU is fried from too many years of doing 3D rendering and stuff that a MacBook Air really wasn't designed for.
Do we have paint mixing codes for HPR, though? From...
Also there's talk of some people's 2022 orders getting pushed into 2023.
I'm hoping there's enough available to get a 2023 one myself. Probably gonna have to place an order real early, maybe when it opens in August. I could see them selling out even earlier this time around.
That having been...
I like the idea of one, but I just don't know at this point. Drain failure and leaks are huge issues on other platforms with them, at least when they happen. And the one on my Jeep doesn't work at all- but at least it isn't leaking.
AMAB Enby. No Maverick yet (orders are closed), so mainly reading the manual is when I get curious about something. Later on, it's going to come out when I can't figure out how to work something.
Definitely talking about the wheels.
Most of the time people talk about expensive rims and they just look... dunno. Really mall crawler. If that makes any sense.
