they probably are the same, but the critical difference is that they are probably the same motors used for Bronco Sports & Escapes that don’t have memory seats. Motors with a feedback sensor are a bit more expensive so I highly doubt they would be the same and according to the wiring diagrams...

Do you happen to have Bronco Sport wiring diagrams? They are also on the C2 platform and may have shared components and I’ve had better luck finding wrecked 2022-2024 Bronco Sports with memory seats than I have wrecked 2022-2024 Escape.

Thankfully, that's for the NHTSA to decide. Failed CV axles can lead to a loss of vehicle control, especially when turning or at high speeds, potentially causing a loss of power or an accident.
