Wife randomly decided a few days that she didn't want to take her Expedition somewhere and decided to drive my Mav. I then used it a few hours later and of course the seats and mirrors had been adjusted. nbd, I just adjusted everything back. But she drove it again yesterday. I think she's starting to like it for quick trips where taking her land yacht doesn't make sense and that's fine with me. What's not so fine is having to adjust my seat and mirrors every time I get in the car. It's annoying.

Wondering if anyone has modded in memory seats. I have power mirrors and the driver's seat is also powered. Not sure if anyone has taken the time to see if the motors have a hall sensor or feedback line that could be wired into an Arduino or something, or if anyone has figured out a way to install OEM style memory seats/mirrors.

I'm okay with even just one memory setting - for me, to undo whatever she's done as I drive it way more often that she does, but its starting to look like she's going to start driving it often enough for this to get real annoying, real fast.

I laugh because it's amusing, but I feel your pain!

It would probably take quite a bit of work/programming for the memory settings. If you work it out let me know :D

Only if you want legit OEM. If the motors have feedback lines and you're willing to be a little janky with just a momentary rocker switch installed somewhere discreet, hooking that up to an arduino and writing a little routine to save and set a position is no big deal. If no one has done it, I might investigate. I might even be willing to swap the motors out for one with feedback if that's needed. Depends on cost.

I miss being able to save multiple seat settings like I could in my 2013 Escape.
It also saved my mirror settings I believe.

Maybe junk pick parts from an old Escape and see if you can install those

I really wish that the Mav had the memory seats feature. My old fusion had it and it was great. With the Maverick I ended up just taking measurements of my seating position so I reset it whenever someone moves it. It’s kind of a pain, but it works for almost exact re-positioning.

....or, you could just buy her a Maverick for herself.
That would certainly be the most expensive way I can think of to get both of our seat positions memorized.

She would likely still drive mine out of spite though

I think it's possible, I do have memory seats in my Bronco Sport, being both the same platform... some hardware and software involved

I don’t have that problem. My 5’2” wife drives an Expedition. She had to take my hybrid mav one day. She said NEVER again. She’s decided she’s a princess and needs to have the height above the road, heat and ac seats, real leather, auto dim mirror, cameras all around, etc.

you could rig a simple Arduino circuit that would run each motor to the end of the track to zero it, and then run them the other way a specified number of milliseconds.

A little tricker would be to add an extra couple of buttons to more easily program it, but till a minor project.

Well played. Unfortunately I bought a lariat because I am a bit of a princess myself.
