So I am approaching 6000 miles on my Tremor Maverick and will be taking it to a trusted local Ford Dealership to have the service done. I plan on requesting a full synthetic oil change, changing the oil on the RDU (Based on what I read here), I will also have them look at the tire pressure monitoring system has I just found out a few days ago I am not getting a reading from them. Beyond that, should I be requesting a service on anything else that I am missing?
No worry dealer will burn you for around $200

So if this is a “trusted” Ford dealership , why are you asking the numbskulls on this site what to ask for?

If that's all it is, I will be thrilled.

Because I haven't used them in a couple of years, my last experience was good but based on past experiences that doesn't mean they haven't changed for the worst since then. It's prudent to get a base line for what these services cost and get an idea of what should be serviced based on those who drove a Maverick longer than I have.

Update us. My dealer told me PTU and RDU will run $49
I’m good with that. My full service with full synthetic is $79
I’ll flush my transmission at 50,000 just for shits and giggles..
The flush and refill takes I think 12 Quarts.
And time. $229
So an update, I just dropped the car off, they said to change the fluid in the RDU and PTU is $170 each, they strongly suggested it was a waste of money to change now and just to do it at the recommended service interval. So I am just doing an oil change.

While I am here I am also having them look at an occasional hood shake I get a higher speeds. I also asked if they could adjust the time out on the pair of bed lights (One in the bed by the tailgate and the one above the rear window) since they seem to time out after 60 seconds, I couldn't find any setting to fix this.

I also asked if they could max out the time the cigarette lighter, the USB ports and the 12 Volt outlets in the bed stay energized. Seems the USB ports are power off immediately and they can't change that but they are looking into the other outlets.

Got out of the dealership: the occasional hood shake is normal for the Maverick at speed, they could not adjust the time out for my bed lighting or the 12 Volt ports in the truck. They did the blended oil change and multi-point inspection, cost was $87 with tax, the service cost me $0 since I used my Ford points. I am also get a $20 Visa card in the mail for doing the service at this dealership.

The truck got a clean bill of health and is due for another oil change in 5000 miles.

After reading post #21 I wonder if my local dealer is still fifty bucks. I asked them this quite some time ago.

Seems like a big increase even this price was quoted from 3-4 years ago, reading around here it seems like most people were not finding their PTU or RDU underfilled from the factory so I decided to take the gamble mine is properly lubricated and just pay to change it at 30,000 miles per Ford. If it was $200 or less I would have paid for it now but not at $340...

Those are battery saver changes if going off that quick.

Means your battery is under a threshold - and if at the point the cabin power port/USB is off when you open the door - it's at max effect.
You must have been missing it as it slowly became shorter & shorter.

Unless, unless - this is the new 25MY setting. But I don't think so.
Used to be 75 min, thought users of Forscan reported it down to 60 min for 25MY.

Bad batteries do happen, if that's the reason. Enjoying the radio in Acc mode good reason too!

There are some DIY fixes for the shaking hood. It was an issue on the original models in ‘22. Search forum and you can find details.

Perhaps by then you'll find an independent shop doing it for much less.
As long as you have receipts that show correct fluid spec was used, and mileage/date - you'll fulfill warranty requirements.

Yeah I was actually looking at these:

Ford Maverick First service? 1757090163896-x7

I saved the thread somewhere that discussed this but Ford made cut outs by the firewall of the truck that will support these additional bumpers and I heard good things from people here on them solving that issue, I figured I bring it to the dealerships attention and see if they had a fix they would implement for free.

I have two independent shops that I trust, one is down by my job that does good work but is pricey, I pay the extra since they service my car while I am at work which saves me my limited free time. The other up by my home does quality work and is reasonably priced but he is a local favorite and it's hard to get an appointment that lines up with my schedule. Both of them have taken care of my Fusion over the last 160,000 miles I have driven it so I wouldn't hesitate using them but I am super paranoid about doing something that will void the Powertrain warranty on my Maverick.
