I wouldn't ever exceed GVWR...that's just asking for problems. I'm just surmising that it is probably a tad higher that 2000# in reality. May be that means 2050, 2100, or 2500. I know my Jetta TDI was rated very differently in countries outside the USA.
Early June: "How can Ford offer a hybrid pickup starting at less than $20k....It doesn't seem possible???"
Early July: "How can Ford not offer a vehicle that I can option to every one of my personal whims...???"
By the complete lack of logic...I'm guessing he doesn't. The chips that are in short supply for vehicles do not care if it is in a bottom or top of the line vehicle. A chip for an ECM or HVAC module is the same regardless of XL, XLT, or Lariat. The programming may be different...
I ended up ordering on X plan. However, the largest Ford dealer in the area (who has 2 Ford dealerships) was not accepting X plan. I drove 15 minutes to a small town dealer and they had no issues and were awesome to work with. Candy Ford in Charlotte, MI
I've never seen a gas pump at the dealership. Every dealership I know uses a gas card for a local station. And I would be shocked if FoMoCo reimbursed them anything for fuel.
I think you'd probably be ok with that one assuming you do not overload. I would HIGHLY suggest adding trailer brakes. Stopping is much more of an issue than the pulling at that weight.
My favorite color is green and it while it was popular mid-90's...car manufacturers have really gone away from it. Loved it on my Bonneville and my Spartans.
i added an aftermarket cruise (stalk) to my Chevy Spark. No...it was not an option either. It was <$250 an took about 30 minutes. Plugged right into my obd2 plug. I could easily spliced it into the back but if I ever need to use the obd2....I can just as easily unplug it temporarily.
