Pass, though I might be interested in a Plug-in Hybrid. Mainly because I could plug it in at work, Power Plant.
Not interested in planning travel around being able to stop and plug my car in to charge.
There Is a setting on the truck for this, at least on Sync 3.
Settings/Android Auto/Select your phone then uncheck "Show on Connection."
Android auto won't start unless you select it, at least on mine.
Same exact thing happened to my 2022 just after I bought it. Tried to get the dealer to look at the rattle and they were 2 months out just for an appointment. Windshield was cracked by a rock 12 days after I bought it and the replacement from Safelite fixed it and no more rattles.
Thankfully I...

I don't see a spec listed in the manual, between 5-15 watts, I'd guess closer to 5.
Mine can barely, if able to, maintain the current charge when using Android auto, and gets pretty hot.
Not worth the trouble. Low watt inefficient charger.
Just get a decent fast charger and plug it into the back of the console.
Much faster, no heat. I do use my wireless pad for my Samsung Buds/Buds 2.
There's no 10,000 digit on the trip meter.
So you've gone 14,387.9 since resetting trip 2, 4486 electrtic.
I reset Trip 2 when I bought the truck. 42,039 miles, 17,941 electric.
Is there something wrong with your Sync 3 system?
I have not updated Sync 3 on my 2022 since purchased new. Works great. It's not like they are adding any features, that I know of.
Same here. I don't see the point of wireless charging in the truck and added wear/heat on the battery when you can plug it in.
I do use the wireless charger for my Samsung Buds.
I liked it at first, but I only for short trips. Then realized it wasn't even necessary for that as quick as a fast...
Are you using Android Auto/Carplay?
It's a low wattage wireless charger, basically not worth using for reasons you stated. I use mine to charge my Samsung Buds, but keep a fast charger plugged into the 110v plug in the console if needed for my phone.
I got the 2022 Hybrid Engine/Warranty package, Lol.
New engine at 39,000 miles, due to CSP, and a free 3 year/75,000 mile Ford Premium Care extended warranty.
