I read that too, and proven that it's quite overexaggerated...
Would a better tire be better?
Off course!
Can a Maverick use that with the limited ground clearance?
Kind of...
But I'll get some Falken's too when these are dead!
And I was referring (mostly) to liking the black, FX4 only...
Really appreciate that picture! Haven't been able to find any that shows it so well.
Might bite the bullet on them... since it's a quick and easy fix, and will look good with a red logo to match my FX4 decal and red tow hooks 🤓
The opposite here, was actually a part of why I got the FX4 package.
They should be WildPeak's, but wonder which ones now when Falken discontinued the AT3W's with the '4's'...
Let us know when you get the truck please!
Thanks!
I think it's a nice touch and make the truck look a bit more Off-Road ready.
Definitely would be cool to meet out there. (This was in Capitol State forest btw.)
Did read thru that one thoroughly! Very nice write up and a good design. Might make one.
But looking at it closer today I think a good mudflap and a cover for the opening (or spendy Rokblokz) in the wheel well will stop the spray and fix it. Definitely a poorly thought through design by Ford...
Been eyeballing tires since before I took delivery actually. But a few things have hold me off. One is the cost. Gonna have to drop a grand or so for new tires, but also having brand new tires on the truck... which are worth $0 when getting the new ones! And now after playing with them, they are...
Was actually going to do some Pew-pew training... But the area where I usually go now have some mining/digging going on! Hopefully when they are done it might be even better. 😎
Did get in some mild Off-Road today for the first time. And the Mav' (and 'dreaded' Pirelli's) did better than expected!
Was regular to medium rough forest service roads, some pretty big water holes (biggest was about ten(ish) inches deep) Medium sized rocks, thick mud and quite a bit of snow...
I did the same. Made a wedge cut, and will use the wedges to 'lock' the devider in place so it doesn't bang around. Pretty sure the OEM spray-in bedliner will survive with it loose, but would hate hearing it.
I got a bigger square if you can't see the one used. But since that on is also 90⁰ it will show the same size difference of the narrow opening and wide bed slot.
Kind of what I did, except on the top part of the outside so it clears pulling up and then can be tilted around, pushed over to the side and then lifted out flat.
I got that, but I wanted a 'solid', one piece deal so it won't rattle around back there. Also had a bunch of leftover wood, hence the odd design and not perfectly sized pieces! 😳
Aah!
All good!
But I did indeed misspell quite a bit 😳 and don't know who, and why I didn't get notified about it, changed the post title... (which was initially also misspelled since it was just pulled from the first post I made).
No what I'm saying is that you can't make it as tall as the slots, which are a bit over 11 inches, if you want to be able to remove it from the truck..!
It's not possible to pull it up since it won't clear the bed opening, and if you made it tight enough to not flopp around (and be...
Behind quad lingual have many advantages, one is to make the grammar police upset easily. 🤣
(I tried to correct it, and didn't actually write the post thread line like it was, some modulator must edited that with my misspelled 'width' in it...)
