I believe they can use pay by plate but it may be at a higher rate than transponder.

Same here at my house but the site I used was https://www.ford.com/support/sync-maps-updates/. They also give you an option to purchase a USB drive for price already loaded with the update software.

Unless less you have a good WiFi connection the OTA updates would probably be better done by usb downloads. They are for the Sync system and/or Map updates for navigation. The vehicle updates are done by the dealer. I find it easier and faster to download to usb drive and install it that way. 👍

They should pro rate your warranty those extra miles then.

I have a 2023 Lariat EB and when backing out my driveway sometimes that alarm goes off with cross traffic. Nothing when nearing anything though which sucks.
