  1. Fog Lights Molded Into Bumper -- My Project Has Started

Wasn’t trying to be critical or rude. Appreciate all the effort you’re putting in.
  2. Fog Lights Molded Into Bumper -- My Project Has Started

According to review on Amazon, these lights are not a low fog light pattern, but more of a spot or driving light. If you want to add more bling to the Maverick, these are good. If you want true fog lights, look elsewhere.
  3. Hybrid Towing and Camper Options

Subtract the frontal area of the Maverick.
  4. Rally Innovations Fog Lights in the works

I believe Ford is abandoning fog lights across the board. The new 2024 Mustang does not offer fog lights either.

How can you be more affordable than $100 from the factory when you order your Maverick?
  6. Expectations Met? A 4-Season, 29K Mile, 1-Year Maverick Hybrid Owner's Review (40.8 mpg)

In Minnesota, similar circumstances. Three big things that affect cold weather mileage. First, the truck senses temperature and runs the gas engine more to make heat available and make sure the oil is warm and circulating to prevent wear. Second, batteries are less efficient in the cold so the...
  7. Geeting out of Park Issue- Hybrid

Another thing that can lock up the shift dial is if you inadvertently lock the steering wheel getting in and out of the car. My wife has done this a number of times. Check to make sure the steering wheel is free.
  8. Which floor mats should I get?

Don’t know, but the mats are fantastic.
  9. Aftermarket Exhaust for Hybrid Maverick?

I would be interested in stainless steel replacement components in the future. Stock Maverick exhaust is not stainless and won’t last long anywhere that has road salt. Too bad because the stainless exhaust on my 2000 Subaru lasted 21 years and was still going when I sold it.
  10. Wheel well protection

From what I know, they treat those areas. I think they have special tools to access.
  11. Stock Hybrid XL in the Snow

About 1200 miles on the Continentals and I saw no lower mileage with the CC2s. Averaged between 39-42 with 50%-50% local-highway. Far superior tire under all conditions in my opinion.
  12. Stock Hybrid XL in the Snow

I experienced no decrease in mpg. I put about 1200 miles on the Continentals before I switched. The CC2s are my summer tires, I got Blizzaks for the winter.
  13. Stock Hybrid XL in the Snow

Interesting, because I had the identical Continentals on my previous vehicle and hated them (Subaru AWD Impreza). I installed the Michelin CC2s on my Maverick and love them.
  14. Fog lights installed!

Check the owners manual, I read that Ford says not to attach accessory electrical to the battery posts because it can screw up a computer.
  15. Apple car play

I found this coiled usb cable on Amazon. I like it because it allows me to set up maps or music and then it stays out of the way. Coiled USB-C to Lightning Cable (Note: USB C, not USB), dé Coiled Lightning Cable 3ft [CarPlay Compatible & MFi Certified], for iPhone 14 Pro Max/13/12/11...
  16. Please recommend a portable CD player for the Maverick

I don’t have this model on Amazon, but I have a HOTT CD player hooked up to a tabletop radio and I have been happy with the quality.
  17. Gear shift wouldn't move out of Park

If you happen to pull on the steering wheel after putting it in park, you might lock the wheel. When you try to move it out of park the shift dial won’t move because column is locked. Turn ignition off and back on while trying to move the steering wheel… that usually frees it up for me.
  18. Rotary shifter problem and solution

Additional info. Not positive but it seems she pulled on the steering wheel getting out of the Maverick, locking it and the shifter won’t move with the steering wheel locked. Turning key off and on and moving the steering wheel seemed to work freeing the shifter up.
