According to review on Amazon, these lights are not a low fog light pattern, but more of a spot or driving light. If you want to add more bling to the Maverick, these are good. If you want true fog lights, look elsewhere.
In Minnesota, similar circumstances. Three big things that affect cold weather mileage. First, the truck senses temperature and runs the gas engine more to make heat available and make sure the oil is warm and circulating to prevent wear. Second, batteries are less efficient in the cold so the...
Another thing that can lock up the shift dial is if you inadvertently lock the steering wheel getting in and out of the car. My wife has done this a number of times. Check to make sure the steering wheel is free.
I would be interested in stainless steel replacement components in the future. Stock Maverick exhaust is not stainless and won’t last long anywhere that has road salt. Too bad because the stainless exhaust on my 2000 Subaru lasted 21 years and was still going when I sold it.
About 1200 miles on the Continentals and I saw no lower mileage with the CC2s. Averaged between 39-42 with 50%-50% local-highway. Far superior tire under all conditions in my opinion.
I experienced no decrease in mpg. I put about 1200 miles on the Continentals before I switched. The CC2s are my summer tires, I got Blizzaks for the winter.
Interesting, because I had the identical Continentals on my previous vehicle and hated them (Subaru AWD Impreza). I installed the Michelin CC2s on my Maverick and love them.
If you happen to pull on the steering wheel after putting it in park, you might lock the wheel. When you try to move it out of park the shift dial won’t move because column is locked. Turn ignition off and back on while trying to move the steering wheel… that usually frees it up for me.
Additional info. Not positive but it seems she pulled on the steering wheel getting out of the Maverick, locking it and the shifter won’t move with the steering wheel locked. Turning key off and on and moving the steering wheel seemed to work freeing the shifter up.
