Ordered my hybrid on June 21, 2021 it arrived April 13, 2022… 9 months wait… BUT production didn’t start until late October… so actually 6 months. If you order immediately in early August you might have your Maverick in January. We all know how fast the holidays go… you’ll have your truck before...
Seems like you have alternatives with the Altima for trips with the three of you. When your son is off to college you’ll probably seldom use the back seat. Things to consider if you are buying for the long haul. Have had no complaints from rear passengers in my Maverick hybrid.
Sorry, hate auto dim mirror, glad it’s not standard. I’ve had six eye surgeries and the standard flip mirror gets dark enough; the auto dim has too much glare.

I think this is someone’s flight of fantasy. It makes no sense for Ford to build a truck so similar to Maverick. The Maverick is being sold in South America so the conjecture that a “Ranchero” would be sold only there doesn’t hold much water either. Looks like automotive editorial filler to me.
