Uninsured drivers should be hung out to dry just like thieves today. Nothing worse than a uninsured driver getting by not paying what they are lawfully required to do, then kill someone or destroy their property, just like a thief. I have no use for a thief.
I ordered my separater from the parts dept. Waiting for the rails now, which is taking quite a long time. About $900 worth to keep things where you put them. Wow, what a dope!
Only problem there is people cannot take the road easy. Too many in a hurry to go nowhere. Sure, they have fun driving like that but they will run you fanny off is you obsure their pleasure. Driving used to be fun, just strolling by and enjoying the ride.
I totally hear you. The mpg is not as good as a hybrid should be, and because many are saying it is because the heater is on is BS. It may be true, but it is still BS. These small trucks with a hybrid function should be doing better, because it is why I bought a hybrid instead of the ecoB.
I am a little tired of running with the heat off. It is around 38 degrees, + -, from day to day, not bad, it is February, so, but not getting the mileage I expected from a hybrid. Averaging around 33 -36. I was getting that in my 22' Ecoboost. There is about 300 miles on it so far, so it may...
Definately a positive change for the better. I have seen those wheels, (stock) on so many cheap cars and after a few years, they start to rust. Thing about the great looking wheels is they never rust, due to alluminum made. You did well.
I have had the same problem with mpg and hybrid. I watched, read all the replies and tested the problem for a couple of days now. I got in, turned it on, heated up the cabin, turned it off, drove out with no heater on at all, mpg's got to 50+, then started dropping, on an interstate, 65 mph...
That's the color I received, but an XLT. Truck is a beauty, but I would not have wheels that look like that. Love the truck, hate the wheels. Just me I guess. Reminds me of a toyucka.
What Is Regenerative Braking?
Hitting the brakes on a car creates kinetic energy. Regenerative braking lets EVs and hybrid vehicles store some of that kinetic energy in the battery to use when you accelerate again. That's accomplished through the EV motor's dual-rotation design.
But what...
Right. The reason to buy a hybrid is for it to be used. If cold weather plays that big of a part, why even bother? You guys in cold states should have a headache if you bought a hybrid.
I drive just like I did my 22' mav. Slow, steady, no hurry to go anywhere. Retired, leisure drives here and there. I don't have a lead foot, never did after the age of 25. I got around 33 mpg and never go over 62 mph. No need and I don't hold up traffic. I just don't like the fact filling...
Well over a quarter tank of gas to go 135 miles. That must be about a bit more than 3 gallons. Seems like a lot with a battery operated vehicle. Maybe I am just nuts.
I did get the battery to register .7 after I hit the brake to slow down to turn on my street. If the key is to hit the brake to charge the battery, I won't get very far.
