  1. First oil change question

I have seen people walmart hires. I would not let them wash my truck, much less get into the mechanics of it.
  2. Around town mpg: 2025 Maverick Hybrid AWD

Actually I was getting 33 - 35 mpg in the ecoB. City, not so much, but my city is 1.6 miles any direction. Small town, short drive.
  3. Soft plastic on ALL trim levels?

I think I would rather take my chances at NOT scratching the dash. Sorry, just doesn't do much for looks.
  4. Review: TFL loves the 2025 Maverick AWD Hybrid after 2,500 miles and doing "snow-nuts"

Yeah, sorry I missed that. I am just going to drive it, pay for it, trade it.
  5. Review: TFL loves the 2025 Maverick AWD Hybrid after 2,500 miles and doing "snow-nuts"

Now I have to coast and let an 18 wheeler ram me up the whazooo? I have snapshot. I cannot apply the brakes hard or I get dinged on my insurance account.
  6. Review: TFL loves the 2025 Maverick AWD Hybrid after 2,500 miles and doing "snow-nuts"

Yeah, I don't know how to drive. 72 years old, been driving for over 55 of those, not sure how to start, stop, go forward, reverse and stay in my lane. Good grief.
  7. Review: TFL loves the 2025 Maverick AWD Hybrid after 2,500 miles and doing "snow-nuts"

Like I said earlier, I take off slow at lights, do not gun the truck, do not race to the next light, and drive like I am old. Even though I am, I have been around and know how to treat a vehicle trying to save on fuel. I constantly use cruise and keep it under 63 mph in that 65 up zone. Never...
  8. Review: TFL loves the 2025 Maverick AWD Hybrid after 2,500 miles and doing "snow-nuts"

If I ever see that, I may just have a cardiac. Not sure how it is accomplished, but just have to stick with it. It is too expensive to trade back in.
  9. Review: TFL loves the 2025 Maverick AWD Hybrid after 2,500 miles and doing "snow-nuts"

So I am looking at this truck like my electric bill/heat in the winter time, Nov - March. My bill is approx. $210 a month, but hold on, the other months of the year, it goes down to a reasonable amount. I just have to suffer through the cold months to achieve a better outcome.
  10. Review: TFL loves the 2025 Maverick AWD Hybrid after 2,500 miles and doing "snow-nuts"

You said you averaged 40 mpg around town. Is it strickly a town truck where you cannot get the mileage you want out of town? I believe so. I have not gotten over 31 mpg, in the city or the road. And it isn't the cold weather. And it isn't my driving. If I knew it was to be used in the city...
  11. Review: TFL loves the 2025 Maverick AWD Hybrid after 2,500 miles and doing "snow-nuts"

55 mph yesterday, 21 mile trip. Not much hillage, just straight highway, no expressway. No heat on, no accessories on, except drove in cruise control the whole way. I got 30.1 mpg, using 1.6 miles for electric. The rest used gasoline. And this is a hybrid in case you didn't know. To get...
  12. Around town mpg: 2025 Maverick Hybrid AWD

Yeah, if I was getting 35 I would be sortof happy, but getting 29 - 31, I am pissed. And I am doing everything suggested on this forum. It just sucks to get lousy mpg's.
  13. Around town mpg: 2025 Maverick Hybrid AWD

I have a 25' AWD hybrid XLT, as most know. I am pretty much fed up with lousy mpg with this hybrid. This is why I bought the hybrid, to save on gas usage, but that is not happening. I am getting about 29 mpg. I have put gas in it three times, checking the mileage and it is not promising...
  14. Obligatory got mine - 2025 Maverick + new aftermarket wheels & tires

You have to get what you want first or you may regret it. Going back for the ones you really want is a hard task, but be happy you made a good choice.
  15. Obligatory got mine - 2025 Maverick + new aftermarket wheels & tires

I like the wheels. Good option, only for me, I don't care for more to have to clean. The more spokes, the more I have to get a brush in there, that is what I don't care for. But yours do look great.
