Best answer so far, I bet somewhere in the owner's manuals it tells you the maximum size difference allowed but check with different tire stores to find one that has your tire and can cut it down to the exact size of your other 3 tires.
My guess is to prompt people to order a certain color of vehicle to enhance a years production. They discontinued the "Area 51" even though it was near the top choice and also did away with the extra charge "Cyber Orange" but who really knows what the marketing department does.
Great reply, I also have to decide which one of the Mustangs to drive on Club events. Currently I have the 65 on jack stands as I rebuild the power steering, and a Vintage Air heat and A/C system then top it off with manual front disc brakes. It's kicking my butt as my brain says "you can do...
first, I am a Ford guy as was my father before me. I was looking to replace my Subaru Forester as I approached 100k on it and wanted to get a hybrid or full electric vehicle. I really liked the Mach E after test drive and at that time, I couldn't locate a Hybrid Maverick to test drive within 400...
What's the old saying, something like if they let you leave the lot, you didn't get a good deal? I think your assessment of "I got an Okay deal is probably about right. It all boils down to how you feel about it after all is said and done. My son was a car salesman for many years and we bought a...
I actually talked with Ford Reps at a Mustang event and asked why they didn't use the Name Maverick on the Mach E and use the Original Ford small trucks name of "Courier" on the Maverick.
I was told it was a management and marketing decision based on the fact that when the Mustang entered the...
Sorry to hear about your Mavericks repeated issues and that you have traded it in for a Mach E. I have been fortunate to not have had any issues so far with my 2023 Maverick but I did also add a 2023 Mach E premium AWD to my stable. If you have the 220V nearby and a stage two charger at home...
That is absolutely the most important thing, you love it, thats what matters. Congratulations and may your Maverick be as good to you as mine has been to me.
I don't remember what they called Cyber orange on the Maverick but it was last available on the 23 model year but I think it was nearly $700 upcharge and would have further delayed my order. I love how it changes basic colors depending on how it is lit but under full sunlight it just pops.
I have owned many cars and trucks in my 67 years, so the question is do I make a judgement on "all" vehicles I've owned or just small trucks. If we break that down even further to specifically "Hybrids" than the question is easy to answer as this is my first and only Hybrid and I can happily say...
Hard choice as both colors have their advantages, I think I'd go with the desert sand as there are so many white vehicles in parking lots it may get lost in the crowd. I chose Area 51 for my Maverick and love the color and is a bit easier to spot, my Cyber Orange Mach E is very easy to spot as...
It's hard to justify it and if I didn't get the better price I would have cancelled. I have just two primary reasons I keep it. The main reason is the variety that is available and I listen too about 10 different channnels depending on my mood. The second is if I work the system and get it down...
I agree, you must have a bit of patience to deal with what equates to be a used car salesperson. My last adventure with them netted me getting my Maverick and Mach E the basic music package for about $65 each for 1 year and paid in advance. I enjoy the variety of genres of music but I just don't...
If I drive my Hybrid at 65mph I have gotten a best of 33mpg on mostly level road and no A/C but even at 70+ mph I will get about 30mpg with cruise control.
Thats what the dealership has told me as well, synthetic blend is what Ford calls for at least in the Hybrid. I miss paper owners manuals where you could easily find facts like that.
Sorry to hear it but minor accidents do hide themselves behind the plastic. In my 2008 Hyundai Tucson I got a minor hit from behind and it looked like a mere scratch deep into the plastic. Body shop had an estimate of $300 bucks to repair, that price went up to $2,700 bucks as they had to...
