Good Poll. FYI I did consider re
I considered rear seat comfort when I was checking out Maverick and I found it comfortable. I do carry rear seat passengers when needed and have always asked them how it was for them. The majority say it is good but could use a bit more leg room.
Just curious as to what you would replace the Mav with and why? To me my Mav replaced a Subaru Forester Touring model (Lariat equal), the Mav carries larger items but the Subie held everything secured inside.

Thanks for the info, my Mav recently bricked on me and Ford said the battery is not bad enough to replace yet. I'd rather be proactive and not wait until full failure. Just wanted to add an update if anyone is interested. After charging my flooded battery two more time I took it back to my...
My 23 Hybrid nearly all the time runs at two or three lights. If I am running hard with the A/C blasting at full and doing 70mph, it will hit four lights. Only one time did I ever hit five lights and that was with a fairly heavy load on a 105 degree day, going uphill in bumper to bumper heavy...
My Mach E
My Mach E is Cyber Orange and I love it, easy to find in a parking lot full of white, blue, red and silver/gray colors. It is pricey to get repaired I found out.
Out all the comments I've read, yours was the best. My Maverick had been flawless until last week when it bricked on me. I found that the tech did not check the 12 volt battery so I did, recharged and checked again and it down a 118CCA's and S.O.H. was 47%. I have to drop it off next week for...
Thanks for the info, my battery tester is a good quality homeowners version but have put it up against name brands and it was within 1-2% of professional testers. Talked with the local dealership and they confirmed battery wasn't tested at time of service. They want it dropped off for them to...
Follow up, I just read the paperwork from my service last week and it appears that the tech did not check the battery. In the Vehicle check up (part of 10k service) it is barely legible but it appears have DNI written in. Back to the dealership.
No, door wasn't opened until I tried the second attempt to start. I did it like I had just got in fresh start. I drove it about 10 miles and tested the 12V battery and my tester said charge and retest. Today it seemed fine but while driving it acted up again losing power and a big red message on...
I have never had an issue with my 2023 until today. I was leaving and ran across my brother in law a couple of houses down the street, opened passenger side window and talked for a few minutes. I then heard what sounded like a phone chime and my Maverick bricked on me. I shut everything down and...
I have had similar problems in older vehicles and it turned out to be fueling problem. In my experience it was never the fuel filter, it was the fuel pump and one time it was the fuel pressure regulator located near the injectors. If you don't have the tools to diagnose the problem, it would be...
I hate to admit it but I fall into the "Old Man Category" as well because I was 64 when I bought mine. Just as another commenter said it could be that when we were much younger, we enjoyed the small trucks of the late 60's and later like the Datsun, Toyota, Mazda/Courier but all these went from...
I know that feeling, the MGB's are near immpossible for me to get in/out of but comfortable when seated, hard top is gone and roadster is next. 2008 Shelby GT500 is gone as it killed me to see it sit but my back would put me in agony for days after driving it. (must have been the 800 H.P...
I hope this is not my Hybrids future as so far mine has been near flawless. I've only had the mysterious sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't interior lights and passenger door touch unlock issues that are battery related. I only have about 15k on my 23 and other than the the recall stuff...
I love my Mach E and since 99% of my driving is local and I over produce electricity with my solar panels, it works out well. I have my Area 51 Maverick hybrid for hauling stuff or long distances. I got a great online buy on the 23 Mach E with 6k miles and the Ford dealer shipped it to me in...
I thought my 2023 XLT Lariat was worth the 30k plus price and the dealer was nice enough to hide 3,995 in the purchase price as ADM (additional dealer markup) and I didn't walk away. I love my Lariat Lux and I must have gotten a good one as I have had none of the complaints many owners have has...
