Ok im gonna need more information on this. Like where did you get that?Heres mine
AWESOME! I know what you mean about Matchbox,. I would have rather had one from them as well. Now just need a "Ford" authorized die cast one for my office.Just wanted to share the official Hot Wheels '22 Ford Maverick Custom that'll be hitting stores in the next few months. It's about time the Ford Maverick gets some love in the diecast world. I would've preferred Matchbox to do one first since they would've made a clean, stock version. But Hot Wheels being Hot Wheels, they went with a race truck motif. But that won't stop me from getting one. Hope you enjoy and let me know what you think in the comments below.
Yes its on facebook i will share it when i get home from work.Ok im gonna need more information on this. Like where did you get that?
Hot Wheels and Matchbox are owned by Mattel. Surprisingly they are completely separate and don't share any of the die cast molds, each company makes their own. I was actually showing my wife the other day the differences between the Hot Wheels and Matchbox casts for the Focus RS. Matchbox has always been better about all the small details and proportions, Hot Wheels is more about making the car look cool and giving them sweet paint jobs. Both Hot Wheels and Matchbox are owned by Mattel I believe, so they actually have the same corporate parent. Not sure if they share any dies/molds between the companies though. Now recently I was at Hobby Lobby and saw a Greenlight brand model of a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport "rally vehicle" that looked very similar to the Matchbox Bronco Sport (no duh, it's the same car, I know). But Greenlight is owned by another company I believe, not Mattel, so presumably they did their own mold for this car. I'm slightly encouraged by this and hope someone is going to make a more realistic mold of the Maverick...some day!
I saw these ones back in February and have been checking the Hot Wheels pegs all the time waiting for it to come out. It looks like it may be any time soon now!Realizing one of my facebook groups posted pictures of this truck back in february. idk how I missed it.
Yep...Not looking forward to grinding off that rear wing.
I have a small Matchbox collection and would love to see a stock Maverick to add to it.

yep - all that gaudiness sort of detracts from what it actually isI have a small Matchbox collection and would love to see a stock Maverick to add to it.
